Share market news: Shares of Salasar Techno Engineering registered a rise of around 10 percent on Thursday i.e. January 25 and touched the Rs 120.63 mark. Shares of Salasar Techno Engineering, which has a market capitalization of around Rs 3,810 crore, have also hit a 52-week high. The scrip's 52-week low is Rs 36.25. Shares of Salasar Techno Engineering have given investors a return of 154 percent in the past year. Over the past week, Salasar Techno Engineering shares have returned 70 percent.

Salasar Techno Engineering has informed the stock market that it plans to raise funds worth Rs 806 crore and the proposal has been approved by the board of directors.

Salasar Technology Engineering has informed the stock market that it plans to raise the fund by issuing shares of Rs 3.90 crore with a face value of Rs 1 on a preferential basis. This will help the company raise Rs 280.8 crore to fetch. Additionally, the company plans to raise funds by issuing fully convertible warrants of Rs 7.30 crore. This will help the company raise Rs 525.6 crore.

Earlier, the stock market started the trading day on a cautious note as both the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened in the red. The Sensex recorded a dip of 169.18 points to start the day at 70,891.13, while the Nifty registered a decline of 40.40 points starting at 21,413.55. Early market activity reflected prevailing uncertainties in the global economic landscape.

Within the Nifty index, a mixed picture emerged with 22 companies advancing and 27 declining. Notable gainers among the Nifty companies included Coal India, Bajaj Auto, Adani Ports, Adani Enterprises and Hero Motoco. On the other hand, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, Tata Steel, LTIMindtree and Cipla were among the biggest losers.

The Nifty 50 started with a decline of 0.03 percent to launch at 21,447.95, and the Sensex mirrored the trend with a decline of 0.03 percent to start at 71,042.28.
