Luckily, a nail expert has listed the four most important manicure trends for this year, so you don't have to keep searching online.

On TikTok, the beauty expert who owns 14 salons under the name The W Nail Bar shared the biggest nail trends predicted for 2024.

The blonde beauty said: “I have 14 nail salons, and these are the biggest nail trends for 2024.”

COQUETTE NAILS

Coquette nails became popular late last year and will become even more popular this year.

The word 'coquette' means flirty and feminine, which makes perfect sense when you see the design.

You can choose from more minimalist designs to more flamboyant designs, but an important detail is that they all have a bow painted or glued on the nail.

For a chicer way to wear the trend, a glossy French manicure is ideal.

The nail pro said: “It was such a blow for the end of 2023, and they are here to stay.”

CHROME

There was a wave of women asking for Chrome nails after Maddy, from the hit TV show Euphoria, which they featured on set late last year.

And people are still obsessed with the hyper-shiny look thanks to the many ways you can style it.

Whether you go for a French manicure with a twist (think of Hailey Bieber's donut nails) or full-on with a neon pink look as shown in the nailtech video – there is something for everyone.

“It will be super popular throughout 2024,” she added.

“It's time to switch things up and maybe try a new, vibrant color.”

MERLOT

If you enjoy getting your nails done, it will come as no surprise that Merlot nails will be back on the market next fall.

Deep red nails always return when the colder months arrive – and this year will be no different.

She explains: “They just feel warm and alive.

“It's like holding a glass of wine 24 hours a day.”

METALS

Finally, the nail expert talked about metallic nails, the latest trend in salons.

'It's all metallic the range right now,” she explained.

“You can apply them to your entire nail for full coverage, but I really like the idea of doing something that's really abstract.”

She showed an image of a nail set with a nude base color and pink metallic abstract lines running across the base for a more interesting and unique look.

The clip was posted to their TikTok account @the nail bar has since gone viral with over 1 million views and 27,000 likes.

Beauty fans seemed excited about her predictions and couldn't wait to try out the new trends.

One person wrote: “I love that chrome is here to stay!!”

Another commented: “The coquette and merlot are so cute! I say I'm not getting my nails done anymore but seeing all these designs makes me so tempted.”
