John Ibrahim’s brother Sam criticizes his portrayal as a ‘murderer and a drug-addicted bikie’ in Last King of the Cross – revealing plans to prevent a second series from being produced

Sam Ibrahim, the brother of Kings Cross nightclub identity John Ibrahim, has criticized his portrayal in the controversial Paramount+ series The Last King of the Cross.

In the hit series, the convicted gun smuggler is portrayed as a murderer and a drug-addicted biker who struggles with his younger brother John’s rise to power.

Speak against The Sunday Telegraph this weekend, however, Sam labeled his on-screen portrayal in the series as “all bullshit.”

‘I’m not saying I’m a saint. I’ve been accused of a few things in my life. But I was never charged with murder and they put me on the show to shoot people and throw someone out of a window. I’ve never done that before,” he said.

‘They have [also] got my character killing people and snorting cocaine with prostitutes. Don’t get me wrong, I loved to party. But I’ve never partied so much.’

Both men were prominent figures in Sydney’s nightclub district and the series explored key events in their lives, including John’s near-fatal stabbing and other attempts on his life.
