But perhaps the biggest announcement concerned the smallest product: the Ring.

The Ring has no release date or price and appears to be aimed at people who want less intrusive wearable technology.

The ring is plain and minimalist in color and looks like a man's wedding ring, with the sensors hidden inside.

While information about the new product is still limited, the Ring shows that the Korean giant is doubling down on health products like its Galaxy Watch.

Samsung CEO Hon Pak said during a recent interview: “The ring represents that community of people who want health monitoring that is more comfortable and less intrusive.

“It addresses a need for a specific population of people who want to track and measure, but in a different way.”

The Ring was announced by clinical researcher Matthew Wiggins at the San Jose event, following a segment showcasing Galaxy AI and a user's health.

He said the AI-powered Samsung health experience can track sleep patterns, blood oxygen changes and heart rate during sleep.

A patent filed by Samsung in 2023 said the Ring: “is intended to cover the categories of wearable smart devices in the form of a smart ring for tracking, measuring, monitoring and uploading health, fitness and sleep-related information.”

The Sun recently tested the Galaxy S24 Ultra and found that there's a lot to cheer about.

The S24 series isn't cheap – especially the top-end Ultra we tested – with some exclusive AI features.

Meanwhile, Samsung TV viewers have discovered hidden buttons that could be a lifesaver if you can't find the remote.

People are just realizing that there are a bunch of buttons tucked under the logo on the front of their Samsung TV, especially those released in 2018.

The Galaxy Ring won't be compatible with the watch, but it can use Samsung's Galaxy AI
