Sara Sampaio Appears In Love With Jack Nicholson’s Son Ray As They Make Their Red Carpet Debut At The 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Sara Sampaio took her relationship with Ray Nicholson to a new level on Sunday when they made their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.

The model and actor, both 32, oozed affection as they hugged on camera at the high-profile celebrity event.

The celebration coincided with the 96th Academy Awards, where Oppenheimer took home the most awards, including the night’s top prize, Best Picture.

The Portuguese beauty has been dating Ray – the spitting image of his superstar dad Jack Nicholson, 86 – since the summer of 2023, but they saved their big debut as a couple for Hollywood’s biggest night.

Sara exuded classic Hollywood glamor in a beautiful black and burgundy off-the-shoulder dress by Zuhair Murad.

The model and actor, both 32, oozed affection as they hugged on camera at the high-profile celebrity event after first linking up in the summer of 2023.

The dress had a ruffled bodice and a voluminous skirt with a slit that exposed her beautifully adorned legs.

The dark material was enlivened with beautiful dark red rose designs and she combined the dress with a tasteful set of pointed black pumps.

Sara swapped her usual brunette hair for blonde locks after dying her hair last month. She styled her long hair with a side parting and let her long waves fall down her back.

She completed her opulent look with glittering jewelry, including sparkling diamond earrings and a chunky necklace adorned with more diamonds and a huge red stone, from Pasquale Bruni.

Ray looked suave in a well-tailored charcoal suit which he teamed with a black satin shirt without a tie and a pair of black loafers.

Sara shared some photos of her Oscars party preparations on her Instagram Stories.

“Last night at @vanityfair with my ❤️,” she captioned a post of her and Ray on the red carpet.

She included some behind-the-scenes photos, including one where Ray helped her zip up the back of her haute couture look.

In another photo, she beamed from ear to ear as she swept her hair away from her face and highlighted her delicate pink-hued nails.

Ray is the product of his father’s relationship with Rebecca Broussard, with whom the Oscar winner dated from 1989 to 1994.

Nicholson has three other confirmed children, including a daughter Jennifer with his only wife, Sandra Knight, to whom he was married from 1962 to 1968.

He would have a son Caleb with his Five Easy Pieces costar Susan Anspach, whom he did not publicly acknowledge until 1996; and an older daughter Lorraine from his relationship with Broussard.

The Chinatown star also has an alleged daughter Honey from his relationship with Danish model Winnie Hollman, whom he has never acknowledged; and a daughter Tessa with the waitress Jeannine Gourin, which he has also never publicly confirmed.

Sara and Ray have kept their relationship relatively under the radar and were last pictured together on a shopping trip in Beverly Hills in December.

She was previously linked to literary manager Zac Frognowski, but their last red carpet appearance was in early 2023.

Ray was previously seen on a date with Delilah Hamlin in 2022.

Ray is the son of actor Jack Nicholson and his longtime girlfriend Rebecca Broussard, whom the Oscar winner dated from 1989 to 1994. He is an actor himself and has had roles in Promising Young Woman, Licorice Pizza and Something From Tiffany’s.

After first starting acting in the mid-2000s, he has gradually worked with more and more prestigious talents.

He appeared in a small role opposite Jared Leto in The Outsider in 2018, and in 2020 he had a minor role in Promising Young Woman opposite Carey Mulligan.

In 2021, he spent a small part working with acclaimed author Paul Thomas Anderson on his 2021 film Licorice Pizza, before graduating to lead roles in the Neil Labute thriller Out Of The Blue, in which he co-starred with Diane Kruger.

More recently, Ray had a supporting role in the 2022 Zoey Deutch rom-com starring Something From Tiffany’s, and last year he collaborated with Camila Morrone, Willem Dafoe and actor and director Patricia Arquette on her drama Gonzo Girl.
