Shane Gillis will host an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live.
The comedian, 36, had previously been fired from the sketch show after videos emerged of him making racist and homophobic comments during a podcast in 2019.
But now he's coming back for a show on February 24 where he'll be joined by musical guest 21 Savage.
In 2019, several clips emerged of the star repeatedly making racist and homophobic comments – including in an episode of Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast.
In the podcast, Gillis and Matt McCusker mocked comedians Judd Apatow and Chris Gethard, calling them “white f****t comics” and “f***ing gayer than ISIS.”

Gillis is also heard telling McCusker that their conversation is “nice racism, good racism.”
Another segment emerged from a September 2018 podcast episode in which Gillis referred to people living in New York City's Chinatown as “f***ing c***ks.”
He also mocked a Chinese accent and the language barrier in the video, saying, “Chinatown is fucking crazy.”
“The translation between you and the waiter is just such a damn hassle, it's like, I'm pointing at it, like these are the damn noodles.”
Gillis was announced as a host on SNL's February 3 show with host Ayo Edebiri.
Gillis quickly apologized for a decade of mostly “bad” comedy on Twitter.
'I am a comedian who pushes boundaries. I miss it sometimes. If you go through my decade of comedy, most of which is bad, you'll find a lot of bad misses,” Gillis said in his apology note.
'I would like to apologize to anyone who was actually offended by what I said. “It's never my intention to hurt anyone, but I try to be the best comedian I can be and sometimes that comes with risks.”
SNL said at the time: “After discussions with Shane Gillis, we have decided that he will not be joining 'SNL.'

“We want 'SNL' to have a diversity of voices and points of view within the show, and we hired Shane based on his talent as a comedian and his impressive audition for 'SNL.'
“We were not aware of his previous comments that surfaced in recent days. The language he used is offensive, hurtful and unacceptable.
“We apologize that we did not see these clips sooner and that our review process did not meet our standards.”
Shane added, “It feels ridiculous for comedians to make serious public statements, but here we are.
“I'm a comedian who was funny enough to get 'SNL.' That cannot be taken away. Of course I wanted a chance to prove myself on 'SNL', but I understand that would be too much of a distraction.
“I respect the decision they made. I'm honestly grateful for the opportunity. I was always a TV nut [sic] However.'
