Shocking moment a truck driver clashes with a tradie in high visibility during a road rage incident

Commuters were treated to a show in rural NSW when a truck driver and a tradie decided to settle their differences in the middle of the road.

The two men were caught throwing punches during a heated altercation at the intersection of Havanna Street and Sydney Road in Bathurst on December 1 at around 3.15pm.

In the video shared on social media with the joking caption ‘UFC Bathurst’, the tradie, wearing a high-vis vest and black shorts, was seen standing over the truck driver as he punched him with his fists before wrapping his legs struck the driver’s arm and performed an action. perfect ‘armbar’ maneuver.

A New South Wales Police spokesperson confirmed emergency services were called to the location after reports of two men fighting in the street.

Officers attached to Chifley Police District attended and spoke to a 40-year-old man and were advised that he and another man had been involved in a fight following a road traffic incident.

The investigation into the incident is continuing, the spokesperson confirmed.

The company of one of the men involved in the incident said they had self-reported the altercation to police and were cooperating with the investigation, the Canberra Times reported.

Their employee was not on active duty at the time of the battle.
