Stacey Solomon has revealed she has already started decorating Pickle Cottage for Christmas – seven weeks before the big day.

The 34-year-old mother of five gave fans a glimpse of her sparkling lights, decorations and tree on social media on Thursday.

In the video, Stacey was told by husband Joe Swash: ‘Fine, just do the bedding and bits and pieces, don’t go overboard.

She replied, “Just the bedroom,” to which Joe agreed, adding, “You don’t have to go over the top.”

Stacey giggled cheekily and Joe quickly said, “No, don’t be silly, this is what you do, you benefit from it.”

In the video, Stacey ditched her Halloween decorations, which included pumpkin sheets and pillows.

It then flashed to their bedroom, which was covered in Christmas lights, tree and reindeer decorations from her George Asda home range.

She also put up a small Christmas tree decorated with mushroom trinkets.

‘He knew exactly who I was when he married me. Sorry if it’s too early for anyone, but for me it’s NEVER too early! It will take longer now.

‘It’s still a Happy Halloween everywhere else, but I can’t even tell you how excited I was to get Christmas in the bedroom. It’s been pumpkins since September 1st, so I was ready.

Elsewhere, Kerry Katona explained that she also didn’t plan to wait to unpack her Christmas tree and decorations, opting to put them up on November 1.

It comes after Stacey, her husband Joe and their children transformed into The Wizard of Oz characters on Tuesday before Halloween.

Stacey, 34, wore a pink princess dress as she transformed into Glinda ‘the good witch’, while Rose was dressed as Dorothy.

Meanwhile, Joe, 41, pretended to be the Scarecrow, Rex was the Tin Man and baby Belle was dressed in a lion onesie.

Alongside the beaming family photos, Stacey wrote on Instagram: ‘Happy Halloween. Lots of love from Dorothy, Glinda, The Scarecrow, The Tin Man & The Cowardly Lion. I miss the big boys this year, but they have outgrown the family costume.

‘Devastated, but grateful that I will hopefully have many more years with the little ones. Rose is OBSESSED with her new shoes. I have a feeling they’ll be her school shoes from now on and Rex is chopping down our trees as I write this. Happy Halloween everyone. I love you all
