Star-studded $4,200-a-night Utah desert resort is now selling on-site homes – and charging huge eight figure sums just for the plots of land

A remote desert resort known for its celebrity clientele has started selling homes, with asking prices ranging from $5 million to $12.5 million.

The Amangiri hotel in the heart of the Utah desert is located near the Arizona border and four hours from the nearest airport.

The luxury resort is known for its beautiful surroundings, ultimate privacy, lavish amenities and glamorous accommodations.

With just 34 guest suites and 10 tented pavilions on the 900-acre private property, rooms start at an eye-watering $4,200 per night.

Notably, the resort is occupied by people like Miley Cyrus, Ivanka Trump, Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande, Kourtney Kardashianamong other things.

Now the hotel offers the chance to call the breathtaking desert landscape home, with 12 luxury residences up for grabs.

Lot prices for the homes start at $5 million and go up to $12.5 million.

And some homes have already been discussed: one is under construction and several plots have been reserved.

CEO of Canyon Equity LLC, Amangiri’s developer Robert Hee said adding “residences has always been part of the vision for the resort,” the spokesperson said. Wall Street Journal.

“It was a matter of developing the concept so that we are satisfied,” says Hee.

The homes took nearly six years to complete, and were designed by Marwan Al Sayed and Mies Anderson, the co-founders and principals behind Los Angeles-based Masastudio.

Notably, this duo was also part of the original Amangiri resort design team, a project that took about eight years.

Al Sayed said the properties will be located 150 meters to half a mile west of the main resort.

The carbon-neutral homes, which will average about 7,100 square feet, will range from four to eight bedrooms on lots ranging from 5 to 19 acres.

Amangiri’s core principle of harmonious and long-lasting coexistence with the environment extends to the new homes, Hee said.

The resort itself has successfully addressed the challenges of sustainability in a remote location, such as minimizing dependence on geothermal and solar energy, using suitable construction materials for such an environment and reducing the impact of construction on the land.

These same ideas are meticulously applied and reinforced in the design of the homes.

The homes, made of materials such as cement, stone and wood, will have similar private and social spaces.

This includes bedrooms, a kitchen and a cabana room. a swimming pool, etc. How the house is decorated depends on the plot itself, giving individuality to each house.
