Stormy Daniels calls for Donald Trump to be barred from running for President after being found guilty on 34 criminal charges

Stormy Daniels is calling for convicted former President Donald Trump to be banned from running for president after he was found guilty of 34 charges of falsifying company records.

There is nothing in the US Constitution that prevents Trump from running for office, but he would not be able to vote, something Daniels finds “shameful.” Daniels claims she had a brief affair with Donald Trump after meeting him at a golf club in 2006.

“It’s as crazy as the law against walking on the sidewalk with your alligator on Sundays, which still exists in some states. It’s been on the books forever and it’s archaic. Fix it,” Daniels told the Daily Mirror.

Daniels, a longtime Republican, is now urging the public to vote for incumbent 81-year-old President Joe Biden. Trump will be sentenced on July 11.

Trump’s campaign claims to have raised $141 million during the trial and tens of millions in the aftermath of the verdict. During his first press conference after his conviction, Trump cited a DailyMail.com poll that showed his popularity.

‘I want to encourage everyone to vote. “I understand not liking either candidate… but remember: NOT voting for Biden is the same as voting FOR Trump,” Daniels said.

‘That’s why it’s important. How is it that this great country we live in is full of all these great people, and yet Trump and Biden are all we have? Like that’s it? I just don’t understand it.’

Daniels then blamed Trump for the lack of civility across the country.

“There’s such a small percentage of people in America who are willing to admit they were wrong, and that’s part of the problem with people in general, especially the American public.”

“People just refuse to see the facts, but even if they are shown the facts, they won’t admit that they made a mistake and that they were wrong. It’s ‘I’m right, and that’s because I said so.’ It looks like a cult.’

Daniels, known for her mainstream roles in The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, believes it should be clear to all women who to vote for.

‘If I have to say something to any woman now about who they should vote for, then it makes no sense. If I have to tell you something, ladies, there is no hope for you. This is a president who wants to roll back women’s rights.”

Last month, Trump said he was open to supporting regulations on contraception and that his campaign would release policies on the issue “very soon,” which he later said had been misinterpreted.

The comments, made during an interview with a Pittsburgh television station, suggested that a future Trump administration could consider imposing mandates or backing state restrictions on deeply personal decisions, such as whether women have access to contraception.

During an interview with KDKA News, Trump was asked, “Do you support any restrictions on someone’s right to contraception?”

“We’re looking at that and I’m going to make policy on that very soon,” Trump responded, according to a video of the interview that was posted online briefly before it was set to air and then deleted.

This is the first time Trump has suggested he would pursue a contraception policy since the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a national right to abortion two years ago, setting off a political fight over aspects of reproductive rights including contraception and in vitro fertilization.

Later responding to media reports about his interview, Trump said on his social media platform Truth Social that he “never and never will” advocate limiting birth control and other contraceptives.

Still, the Biden campaign was quick to capitalize on the interview.

“Women across the country are already suffering from Donald Trump’s post-Roe nightmare, and if he wins a second term, it’s clear he wants to go even further by limiting access to birth control and emergency contraceptives,” Biden said— Harris spokesperson Sarafina Chitika. in a statement.

The 34 crimes for falsifying company data that Trump was found guilty of carry a prison sentence of up to four years.

It’s not clear whether prosecutors plan to seek a prison sentence — Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg dodged a question Thursday — or whether Merchan would sentence him behind bars, even if that is the recommendation.

As part of a broader fight against the case, Trump has tried to downplay any concerns about his sentence, saying in a Fox & Friends Weekend interview that aired Sunday that he was “OK” with the prospect of prison or house arrest.
