Sue Radford shows off two new £4,000 bracelets from a brand even Princess Kate loves

MUM-OF-22 Sue Radford was thoroughly spoiled this Mother’s Day when she opened a stash of presents and had a breakfast spread prepared for her by husband Noel.

And it looks like she got a few other presents off-screen, as she was spotted in the YouTube video with a few additions on her wrist.

The mother of Britain’s largest family has expensive taste, as the bracelets appear to be from a designer brand that even the royal family loves.

Noel filmed the day on them YouTube channel, starting the day by turning Sue and the kids into a party that any mother would love.

The platter of dishes included freshly prepared pastries, exotic fruit and ham and cheese, as Noel says the mother loves a continental breakfast.

Sue came down to reveal that today was a very special day indeed – not just because of Mother’s Day – but also because their book The Radfords: Making it Count had become a Sunday Times bestseller.

The mother then opened her cards and gifts from her family, including candles, flowers and face masks.

But it looked like she added some new jewelry to her collection that even Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla are loving.

On her wrist were two Van Cleef bracelets, with their iconic four-leaf clover design.

It appears that Sue has the Carnelian stone bracelet with five motifs, as well as the Malachite bracelet with diamonds.

And it comes with a hefty price tag, says jewelry expert Alexandra Michell of Gemologist Prestige pawn shops from Channel 4’s Posh Pawn.

She told Fabulous: “These look like VCA Alhambra bracelets, one in white gold with pavé set diamonds and one in yellow gold with carnelian.”

The brand was launched in the 1960s, she explained, and has since been worn by stars and dignitaries, becoming an instant classic.

“These bracelets retail from £1,460 for a single motif model to £56,000 for the extra large five motif model in carnelian or diamonds,” she adds.

According to the Van Cleef website, the Carnelian bracelet costs £4,700, while the Malachite and Diamond arm candy costs £13,300.

And Sue isn’t the only one who loves the brand: Queen Camilla was spotted wearing a blue version of the bracelet at a Buckingham Palace reception in 2022.

The Princess of Wales also wore the brand on the red carpet while attending the EE British Academy Movie awards at the Royal Albert Hall in 2020.

Kate Middleton wore the Magic Alhambra necklace and matching earrings to the event and has been spotted wearing them on several other occasions.

Even Love Islander Molly-Mae Hugh is a fan and has been spotted on Instagram wearing the Malachite bracelet.

Despite the apparent jewelery worth thousands of pounds on Sue’s wrist, the couple denied being ‘millionaires’ in their new book.

“Some people have an obsession with the word ‘millionaire’, but we just chuckle when people say this because we’re definitely not millionaires!” Noel said.

In one extract, Sue recalls the judgment the couple received from social media users after renting a luxury camper van, which they often use for family trips in Britain.

“When we bought the camper, a lot of people said, ‘You’re just rubbing it in people’s faces,’” she says.

“I’ve wanted a camper for years and we’ve had to work very hard to get into a position where we could afford to buy one, so why can’t we?”

To round off their modest Mother’s Day celebration at home, the family had a roast dinner made by Noel and enjoyed it with a Nice glass of champagne.
