‘Survivor’ Alum Parvati Shallow Comes Out as Queer and Kisses Mae Martin

Survivor alum Parvati Shallow has publicly come out as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and debuted her new romance with comedian Mae Martin.

“Were here. We are strange. Happy New Year ❤️🌈🏳️‍⚧️,” Ondiep, 41, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, December 30, sharing photos of the new couple.

Shallow shared a series of photobooth photos of herself and Martin, 36, including several shots of them kissing on camera.

Martin reposted Shallow’s photo to her Instagram Story, adding:🥺” And “❤️’emojis. The comic also shared a video of Shallow winking at the camera during a beach date, which Shallow reposted to her account.

Many of Shallow’s colleagues Survivor alumni shared their best wishes for the new couple.

“So happy for you two! You look so happy! 🌈,” Eliza Orlinswho competed on season 9, wrote via Instagram comments.

Season 29 winner Natalie Anderson added: “Get the girl!!!!!!! Here because you’re queer! 💁🏽‍♀️.”

Shallow, which will appear next time The traitors season 2, previously teased her relationship with Martin last month.

“Some people come into your life at the perfect and most unexpected time. They see you, they love you where you are, they make you laugh so hard you cry. They celebrate your victories and lift you to the next level,” Shallow wrote via Instagram sharing photos with Martin in November, Suzanne Muchin And Ariel Stern. “They do art projects with your kids and play hide and seek after dinner. If you get locked up alone in an airport hotel on your birthday, they’ll throw a big surprise party for you when you get home. They remind you that even when things are hard, life can be a beautiful journey.”

Shallow was previously married to colleague Survivor alum John Fincherwhom she married in July 2017. The couple, who share daughter Ama, split in August 2021. Shallow claimed she “didn’t feel safe” with Fincher, who denied the allegations.

“Ms. Shallow’s false allegations of domestic violence were truly unfortunate,” Fincher’s attorney, Joy Dracup Stanley, said.
