Four people have been struck by lightning near the Sydney Opera House as wild storms cause massive power outages and delay Taylor Swift's private jet.

It comes as wild weather delayed Taylor Swift's private plane by as much as 30 minutes as the pop star flew from Melbourne to Sydney.

Swift and her team left Melbourne around noon on Monday, ahead of her next four-day run of shows in her Eras Tour in the Harbor City. The megastar landed safely at 1:25 p.m.
