A MAN has sparked outrage after revealing he cleared the shelves in TK Maxx to resell products for a profit.

‘Entrepreneur’ Tom took to social media to share his money-making plans.

Post under the username, @tomfbahe filmed a TikTok of himself walking around TK Maxx and loading a basket full of discounted items.

Before picking up the items, Tom scanned them with an app called BuyBotGo, which tells him how much the items are selling for on Amazon and how many times they have been sold this month.

He mainly picked up children’s toys, for example a Playmobil set he bought for £14.99, which he said he would make a £5 profit from selling on Amazon.

After piling his cart high, Tom left the store loaded with bags of produce.

He said he would make about £50 profit if he sold the products.

“Not bad for 15 minutes of work,” he said.

Tom, who said he is on a ‘journey of wealth’, revealed he will resell the products through Amazon FBA.

Amazon FBA is a service that online sellers can use, where Amazon takes care of the storage, packaging and shipping of your products.

All Tom has to do is send the products from Amazon and wait for the money to flow in.

In a second video, Tom revealed he quit his 9-5 after discovering he could make £3,000 profit a month by selling just 10 products for £10 on Amazon every day.

Tom’s money-making scheme has sparked outrage online, with some people labeling him as selfish.

TikTok users rushed to the comments section of the video to share their thoughts.

One person said: “How about leaving it there for struggling mums instead of charging them more than double?”

Another person added: “This is unethical.

“These bargains can really help struggling parents care for their children.”

A third person said: “Stop buying baby products.”

However, some people supported Tom’s business plans.

One person said, “Business is business.”

Another person said: ‘First come, first served, if parents are having such a hard time maybe you should get there first.

“They can’t be that desperate if they don’t care.”

BILLIONAIRE philanthropist MacKenzie Scott has made several donations to various charities over the years.

Scott is the ex-wife of former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and is ranked fifth on Forbes 2022 list of biggest lifetime givers.

How much money has MacKenzie Scott donated to charity?

In June 2021, MacKenzie Scott said she had identified 286 high-impact, underfunded organizations in a self-published article on Medium.

Scott donated more than $2.7 billion in grants that year to organizations that advance the arts, higher education and ending discrimination.

She has contributed to more than 780 organizations, bringing her total donations to $16.5 billion as of March 2024. Forbes.

Her previous donation to Habitat for Humanity International and 84 of its US subsidiaries of $436 million was reported by The Associated Press.

Jonathan Reckford, CEO of Habitat for Humanity International, told the newspaper: “We couldn’t be happier to receive the gift at a time when the state of housing affordability is in some ways the worst it has been in modern times been.”

In October 2022, Scott continued her giving campaign by giving the Girl Scouts of the USA and 29 of its local affiliates $84.5 million.

“Her support of our organization honestly means as much as the donation,” said Sofia Chang, CEO of GSUSA, via NPR.

The donation is reportedly the largest individual donation the organization has ever seen.

In 2023, she continued her giving, donating $2.1 billion to 360 organizations that she says “could use more allies” in her Yield Giving database.

In March 2024, Scott announced she was donating $640 million to 361 nonprofits.

More than 6,000 nonprofits responded to an open call when applications for the grant opened.

Emmy Ritter, executive director of Raphael House Portland, told NBC affiliate KGW, “We were overjoyed and amazed to have been awarded the Mackenzie Scott Yield Giving open call funding.”

“This opportunity gives us the chance to really stand on our feet.”

The domestic violence nonprofit originally applied for a $1 million grant, but received $2 million instead.

It’s one of many alternatives to Netflix and even Amazon’s own Prime Video in an effort to help people reduce costs, especially during the cost of living crisis.

But this week Freevee is getting two extra channels.

AN interior designer has shared her flawless plant arrangement for the veranda.

For a lush but low-maintenance welcome, she replaced all her plants with faux greenery from Amazon.

Jessica (@missjessicanicoblog) shared the design advice in a TikTok video.

She decided to upgrade to fake plants after ‘giving up’ real plants.

“I find it very difficult to keep plants alive on this porch,” she explained.

“I’m saving more innocent plant lives and using fake Amazon stems to make my own.”

To simulate the illusion of real plants, she stuffed her large planter with boxes to compensate for most of the height.

For the remaining space at the top, she filled in the gaps with foam green blocks.

The last piece of the puzzle was a bundle $25 fern stems from Amazon, who glued them to the foam blocks until they looked full and natural.

She made sure all areas where the foam blocks were visible were covered and was happy with the game-changer makeover.

“I absolutely love it and I love it even more that I don’t have to worry about keeping it alive,” she joked.

Those who didn’t have a green thumb understood her struggle and praised her creative solution.

‘Genius! And I know I won’t kill him!’ said one commenter.

“The only plants I can keep alive,” joked another.

Jessica even had a solution to make the plants look as realistic as possible.

One commenter was skeptical of the tip because they were concerned about how legitimate the plants might look.

“Until they fade and look plastic. I only use them in winter,” they said.

“I could try injecting them with Sunguard!” Jessica replied.

Many were happy after trying the trick for themselves.

“I did this, but with artificial boxwood, because I had already killed two and couldn’t take the money used to replace them,” said one commenter.

I have suffered from cystic acne most of my life, starting in my teens, including on my face and back.

After trying just about everything from over-the-counter medications to prescription medications, there’s one product I swear by for clearer skin.

My acne problem started at the age of 13, with giant cystic nodules on my face, chest and back.

When I was 17 years old, I found out that the skin condition was due to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) – a hormonal condition that can cause different symptoms depending on the individual.

For me, it meant struggling with often painful cystic acne, and now, at age 33, the mega-pimples usually settled exclusively on my chin.

GROW OUT

After coming to terms with my struggle with adult acne, I decided to look for as many natural or non-invasive ways as possible to keep my skin clear.

As a lifestyle reporter, I’m often at events that focus on beauty and wellness, and having a monstrous pimple on my face can really put a damper on the party.

Once I noticed pimples while strolling the aisles of Sephora, I decided to give hydrocolloid bandages a try to see if they worked.

I could tell right away that the product would absorb oil from my skin, but the painful cysts remained intact.

I decided to branch out and check out other brands, and eventually came across one that was infused with tea tree oil – an ingredient known for its antimicrobial powers.

THE SARA METHOD

The patches work much better with a specific approach to application.

I also never apply the patch itself with my fingers, but instead use sterilized tweezers to remove the patch from the package and apply it to the pimple.

I really saw the power of this product when I woke up the morning of an event knowing there would be cameras flashing in my direction.

It was horrifying to wake up with a mountain of chin cyst on my face – no amount of makeup could really cover this up.

Instead, I opted for my favorite pimple patch, cleaning and drying the area before gently applying it with tweezers.

I also made sure to press on it to make sure it stuck firmly to the giant cystic acne.

MIRACLE PATCH

During the day I felt the throbbing of the infection stop and then the pimple was completely flat, although still a little red.

Within a few hours, my cystic acne became something I could work with.

Wearing makeup on top of a healing pimple isn’t ideal, but for a few hours and several photos, I took the risk.

After the event, I went home, cleaned the area thoroughly and applied a new bandage.

The next day, the pimple was completely unnoticeable – something my teenage self could never have imagined.

THE SCIENCE TO SUPPORT IT
