A POPULAR lager has been pulled from store shelves, leaving fans furious.

Drinkers are campaigning to get Carling Premier back in supermarkets after manufacturer Molson Coors said it was no longer viable to produce in cans.

Punters can still buy it, but only on tap in selected pubs – a decision that has gone down badly with the army of loyal fans.

Due to their scarcity, cans are now being sold on Amazon for an eye-watering £62.99 for a pack of 24.

Multipacks have been spotted in Iceland, Spar, Premier stores and various convenience stores in recent weeks, but many fans are now saying they can’t find one.

One fan asked Molson Coors on X: “Please tell me it’s not true that you stopped making Carling Premier in cans?”

A second asked: ‘Can you tell me why I can’t find Carling Premier lager in the shops lately? I’ve been everywhere, but no luck so far.’

A third wrote: “Very sad to hear this. I think it’s much better than the standard Carling.”

One supporter, John Henrick, has even launched a petition on Change.org.

He wrote: “Carling Premier, a beloved lager known for its smooth, creamy texture and rich flavor, is no longer available in cans from Molson Coors.

“This decision has disappointed countless fans and loyal customers and left them longing for the unique taste that only Carling Premier can provide.

“It’s not just a drink; it’s part of our social fabric that brings people together.”

Nostalgic foods are making a comeback

A Facebook group called “Carling Premier WE LOVE IT So bring it back to Pubs” includes discussions about which pubs serve the public as many do not, as well as stock levels in stores.

Carling Premier was originally introduced to celebrate Carling’s sponsorship of the FA Premier League in 1992.

It is known as a super smooth pint because it is activated by nitrogen.

The addition of nitrogen forms smaller, more abundant bubbles that give the beer a smoother taste and texture than if it were made with carbon dioxide.

Premier’s alcohol content is also higher at 4.7%, compared to Carling Original’s 4%.

A spokesperson for Molson Coors Beverage Company confirmed that production had stopped in November.

He added: “It’s great to see the latent love for Carling Premier!

“Unfortunately, demand in stores had fallen so it was no longer viable to produce it in cans, but it is still available on tap in the on-trade in over 300 pubs, clubs and social venues across the UK.

“The pub is a great place to enjoy a Carling Premier, which has always been a super smooth pint because it is activated by nitrogen.

You can also find the nearest catering suppliers by sending us a message at consumerhelpline@molsoncoors.com.”

It’s not the only change in beer in recent months.

At the beginning of this year, Heineken reduced the alcohol content of John Smith’s Extra Smooth from 3.6% to 3.4%.

The drinks company said the decision to make the bitter weaker was to promote healthy drinking.

Last year, Carlsberg reduced its lager from 3.8% to 3.4%.

How can I save money at Wetherspoons?

FREE refills – Buy €1.50 of tea, coffee or hot chocolate and get free refills. The deal is available all day, every day.

Check a map – Prices may vary by location, even if they are close together. So if you’re planning on having a pint at a Spons, it’s worth visiting nearby pubs to see if you can get the cheapest deal.

Choose your day – Every evening the pub chain organizes certain theme evenings with food. For example, there is a curry club every Thursday evening, where diners can get a main meal and a drink for a fixed price cheaper than normal.

Collection slips – Students can often purchase voucher books from their local universities, which offer discounts on food and drink, so keep your eyes peeled.

Request an app – The Wetherspoons app allows you to order and pay for your drink and food from your table, but you don’t have to be in the pub to use it. Taking full advantage of this, cheeky customers have taken to social media to ask their friends and family to order drinks for them. The app can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play.

Both now fall under the new, lower tax rate on drinks of less than 3.5% following a government change in alcohol excise duty.

Meanwhile, an investigation by The Sun found that the alcohol content in popular supermarket wines has been reduced, but prices have not followed suit.

They say they are doing this to keep prices low following the UK government’s alcohol duty reforms, which means higher taxes on stronger drinks.

Heineken also reduced Fosters’ ABV from 4% to 3.7% in early 2023.

ALDI shoppers have gone wild for a Cadbury’s dupe – after a popular Easter goodie was axed.

The supermarket giant has launched new flavors of a creamy chocolate treat and fans are rushing to fill their shopping carts.

Aldi’s Egg Joyables are back on the shelves in three different, delicious varieties.

Chocolate lovers were happy to see the Cookies and Creme, Milk Creme and Choco Cream versions in their colorful boxes.

They come with four delicious eggs and cost £2.49.

The useful information was posted on a Facebook group and quickly received many likes, shares and comments.

One praised the Easter treat, sharing: “I bet the kids would love this.”

“No way!!,” wrote another impressed shopper.

Someone else wrote: “I love them.”

“If you see these, please give me two boxes,” another fan asked his friend.

Meanwhile, someone posted: “We’ll have to settle for this,” in response to Cadbury discontinuing the original chocolate cream treats.

The Egg ‘n’ Spoons included four chocolate eggs in a box filled with vanilla or chocolate mousse, also with a special Oreo variant.

I tried a great Cadbury bargain at Dunnes Stores after a long search – I’m so happy

But Cadbury confirmed last year that the egg cartons containing their spoon “have been discontinued to reflect the changing taste buds of our fans.”

The industry giant reconfirmed that the nostalgic Easter treat had been axed when a mother wrote about her son’s heartbreak.

She said: “My son is very nostalgic for the chocolate eggs and spoons. Since it’s Easter, he wanted me to buy some. I just found out it has been discontinued! Why? He says he is heartbroken. Children’s taste buds don’t change! A real shame!”

Cadbury commented on the post: “We have some great new treats to try this year though!” These include a new Dairy Milk Half & Half Ultimate Easter egg and the new Creme Egg Bar.

Fans have called Cadbury’s shutdown on X (formerly Twitter) a “crime”.

One user wrote: “This is the worst day of my life”, while another said: “I miss egg and spoon intensely now, hope Cadbury knows what it has done to me”.

Another fan added: “My villain origin story will be the fact that Cadbury has discontinued their egg spoons.”

It comes as chocolate fans race for a chance to win an incredible “ultimate” Cadbury Easter egg worth £12.

Participating in the competition is free and you only have to answer one question.

Plus, Aldi shoppers are also going crazy for a new delicious dupe that they claim is even better than Cadbury’s.

The chocolate bar costs just £1.39 and appears to be modeled on Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Marvelous Creations treat, but it’s 60p cheaper

And chocoholics have been left drooling as a popular Easter treat returned to supermarket shelves this week.

For ad haters, the Prime Video version was cheaper than a full ITVX Premium subscription – and it gave them access to more content.

For £3.99 per month on top of their Prime subscription, subscribers could access ITV’s biggest hits without ad interruption alongside Amazon’s own library of shows and films.

ITV Catchup on Prime Video also allows viewers with older devices to watch content that is now only on ITVX.

ITVX is ITV’s sparkling – relatively new – streaming app, which launched at the end of 2022.

The move leaves ITVX as the broadcaster’s only destination to catch up on missed shows.

However, ITVX is currently not available on some older TVs.

A range of Humax Freeview and Freesat boxes, as well as certain models of Samsung Smart TVs, cannot support the new ITVX app.

ITVX also does not work on some older iPhones and iPads.

For viewers with older television boxes, ITV Catchup on Prime Video was the only way to watch ITV without an Amazon Fire Stick or Google Chromecast.

It appears to be another attempt by ITV to streamline its services and channels.

Last year the CITV channel closed down after 17 years on screen and went online-only with ITVX Kids.

The broadcaster also joined the BBC in dismantling its standard definition channels, including ITV3, ITV4 and ITVBe, in early January.

These channels are now only available in high definition, on HD-supported TVs.

It also allows ITV to increase its own subscriptions to ITVX Premium, which costs £5.99 per month to remove ads and watch BritBox and Studio Canal Presents content.

Without Catchup on Prime Video, viewers will need to upgrade their TV or purchase compatible streaming devices such as a Fire Stick.

Where to buy a Fire TV Stick?

Fire TV Sticks are an easy way to add streaming to an older television. They are manufactured by Amazon, but you can buy them from a number of different stores.

Lauren Phillips and Jase Hawkins have announced they will return to the airwaves in Melbourne next Friday.

The popular duo made the dramatic announcement in early February that they would be launching a new breakfast show on Nova’s 100 FM, after their program was axed by KIIS FM last year to make way for Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

“No one is more excited to be back together and back on the air than the two of us. We are counting down the minutes until next Friday,” Lauren said in a statement on Friday.

“We have plenty of stories to tell.”

The new radio program is broadcast every weekday from 6:00 am to 9:00 am.

The highly rated team replaces the morning show of Ben Harvey, Liam Stapleton and Belle Jackson.

Jase and Lauren recorded their last KIIS FM show on December 1.

In November, Sydney-based radio duo Kyle and Jackie ‘O’ signed a record-breaking 10-year, $200 million deal that will keep them on air until 2034.

At the time, an ARN spokesperson confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that the deal for the Sydney duo meant their work friends Jase and Lauren were unemployed.

Jase and Lauren had their first show together in 2021, and the response was overwhelmingly positive.

Nova 100’s current breakfast team, Ben, Liam & Belle, will host a brand new national show, Late Drive, airing weekdays from 6pm to 8pm.

EastEnders actor Max Bowden was caught telling fans he was 'so bloody excited' to get out as he filmed some of his final scenes for the BBC soap.

The 29-year-old soap star, who was axed from the series after four years, was filmed by a fan holding him back as he left the set in a clip obtained by the Sun.

Max was spotted by fans after filming at Elstree Studios, Borehamwood, as he shot his character's exit scenes, which will air in the spring.

During the clip, Max told the Sun: 'Anyone listening to this audio will hear clearly that this is not a foul-mouthed rant. I talked about my excitement for the future and what's to come.'

Max's contract as Ben Mitchell's player was not renewed after he reportedly received warnings from the boss about his behaviour.

Max was spotted by fans after filming at Elstree Studios, Borehamwood, as he shot his character's exit scenes, which will air in the spring.

The sun on Sunday claimed that the decision not to renew Max's contract was made after they disciplined him.

A source said: 'Max is ready to move on. He is proud of his time on the show and what he has achieved, but he is focused on new projects and what he will do next.”

It was reported that the actor had made decisions with bosses for a talk with executives about his off-screen drama in 2022.

A TV source said: 'Max was called by executives for an interview. He is an extremely talented actor and was always a true professional on set. However, there were concerns that his partying lifestyle away from the set could prove a distraction.'

Off-screen, Max had been dating his co-star Shona McGarty, 32, for six months before they decided to call time on their romance. Shona will also leave the soap in the coming weeks after 15 years.

Sources claimed the pair were 'inseparable' following his split from girlfriend Roisin Buckle, and they made their relationship official on Instagram in August 2022.

However, Max and Shona split in October 2022, with sources claiming the pair had decided to remain friends after Max welcomed a baby boy with his ex Roisin.

Their relationship started when his ex-girlfriend Roisin, 38, was pregnant with their child.

Last month, Max broke his silence after being 'rejected' when he told fans he was 'surrounded by love' all day and was 'grateful' as he celebrated his birthday, as he thanked viewers for their support

In September 2022, Max revealed that he was a father for the first time after the birth of his son.

Roisin and Max both shared a sweet black and white photo of their son, who was born on September 19, 2022, as they revealed they named him Reginald.

They revealed they were expecting their first child in April 2022. The soap star met Roisin in a pub in June 2021. The pair quickly bonded and went on holiday to Madeira in July.

The couple decided to split in March 2022, while agreeing to co-parent once their son was born, but Roisin claimed in August that they had not been in contact for two months.

The same month, Max was spotted at a country music festival with his EastEnders co-star Shona at London's O2.

Alongside an image of the soap star enjoying a meal with family and friends, he wrote: 'I've been surrounded by love all day celebrating my birthday.

'Grateful for family and friends. Thanks for all the messages. Great love.'

His final scenes will air in the spring, but it is understood that his character Ben, who has been played by numerous actors in the past, will not be killed off.

An EastEnders spokesperson told MailOnline: 'Max will be leaving EastEnders next year. We wish him all the best for the future.'

A TV insider said this The sun: 'Max has been playing Ben for the past four years and the bosses decided his time on the show was over.

“There's been a lot of noise around him for a little too long and that can take away from the drama in the show.

'He went for an interview because his contract would be extended next year. No one knew how things would go and after consultation it was decided that he would leave.'

Max, the sixth actor to play Ben, has been involved in some of the soap's biggest storylines of late.

Ben struggled to cope with the death of Lola Pearce-Brown (Danielle Harold), who was the mother of his daughter Lexi.

He subsequently developed eating disorder bulimia while trying to cope with his grief.

MCDONALD'S will be removing five items from its menu within days, but is also launching a host of new items.

Fast food lovers should rush to the chain if they want one last taste of its popular dishes, snacks and sweet treats.

1

Maccies will remove five items from the menu on Wednesday, February 6Credit: McDonald's UK

The items will leave the main menu on Wednesday, February 6, just over a month after joining.

But from Thursday 7 February, several new and returning items will appear on menus across the UK and Ireland.

Among those that are exciting is the beloved Steakhouse Stack burger.

It consists of two beef patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions and lettuce with a creamy pepper sauce, all in a toasted bun.

Fans have been begging for it to return since its launch in March 2023.

And several foodies have said the burger was the best McDonald's ever had the last time it was on the menu.

But it's not just the burger fans we'll be saying goodbye to.

The Fajita Chicken wrap, which was first introduced to menus in January 2020, is also being phased out.

Cheesy Garlic Bites are also disappearing; they were last on the menu in August 2023, after first launching in 2021.

For those of you with a sweet tooth, you'll be sad to know that two McFlurrys are being cut.

Both the Cadbury Caramel McFlurry and the Cadbury Dairy Milk McFlurry are only available until February 6.

They mix classic dairy milk chocolate with vanilla ice cream, with sweet caramel sauce or chocolate sauce.

I Worked at McDonald's – The Four Annoying Things Customers Do, Including the Mistake They Make When Ordering a Cheeseburger

What will be added to the McDonald's menu?

It's not all bad news though, as from February 7 there will also be an influx of new dishes and treats.

The home of the Big Mac is launching a McSpicy with Frank's RedHot sauce burger.

The Sun was invited to an exclusive tasting of the new dish earlier this week to see if it lives up to its reputation.

The other new items include the KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry and Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie.

The KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry mixes soft serve ice cream with Ruby Chocolate-covered KitKat pieces and waffle bites, then topped with a pink raspberry sauce.

The cake is a crispy pink pastry filled with a creamy white chocolate ganache and raspberry compote.

If you're not a fan of change, there's also a classic KitKat Milk Chocolate McFlurry.

This is a combination of KitKat milk chocolate pieces and waffle bites and chocolate sauce.

The popular Big Lekker and the Big Lekker with bacon are also back.

Every time the burgers make a comeback, they are a huge success, with many calling for them to be permanent.

They include a beef patty, processed cheese made with Emmentaler, tomato, lettuce, onions and the iconic Big Taste sauce.

For those of you looking to upgrade your dinner, you can also wrap the burger with bacon.

Also back are the Mozzarella Dippers, which come in a pack of three or as a sharing box of nine, each covered in breadcrumbs and served with salsa dip.

But that's not all, because the Breakfast Wrap will also be on the breakfast menus from February 7.

The fast food giant exclusively revealed to The Sun that the much-loved item will be returning to its morning offering.

Foodies have been clamoring for a comeback for the wrap since it was taken off the menu.

Here's the full list of menu items coming next month and their prices:

  • KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry – £2.19
  • KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry mini – £1.59
  • KitKat Milk Chocolate McFlurry – £2.19
  • KitKat Milk Chocolate McFlurry mini – £1.59
  • Raspberry and White Chocolate Cake – £1.99
  • Big Tasty – £7.69
  • Big Tasty with bacon – £8.49
  • Mozzarella Dippers with a salsa dip – £2.39
  • Mozzarella Dippers share box with salsa dip – £6.49

How can I save on my order at McDonald's?

There are plenty of ways you can save on your next visit to McDonald's.

But always keep in mind that menu prices may vary from restaurant to restaurant, so you may want to check prices online first to avoid any surprises.

If you have the My McDonald's app, you can get free gifts on your birthday. It's free to download and only requires a few quick details to set up the app.

However, don't forget to enter your date of birth in the app, otherwise you will miss out.

You can also get a Big Mac and fries for just $1.99 if you complete the quick feedback survey after your last visit.

All you need is your proof of payment, which should be issued no later than 60 days after your visit.

How do I find my nearest McDonald's?

If you're planning a trip to McDonald's, you'll want to know where your nearest location is.

The chain has a restaurant locator on its website that you can use to find your nearest restaurant and check what time it opens.

Please note that McDonald's serves breakfast until 11am every day.

The menu then switches to the normal menu with meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.

Elsewhere, fans were left furious after trying to order a “beautiful” menu item only to find it was sold out “everywhere”.

Plus, The Sun was the first to try the returning Breakfast Wrap – see what we thought.

MCDONALD'S is removing five items from its menu in just a few days, including what fans are calling the “best burger ever released.”

Fast food lovers should rush to the chain if they want one last taste of its popular dishes, snacks and sweet treats.

The items will leave the main menu starting February 6, just over a month after joining.

Among those making an exit is the beloved Steakhouse Stack burger.

It consists of two beef patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions and lettuce with a creamy pepper sauce, all in a toasted bun.

Fans have been begging for it to return since its launch in March 2023.

Several foodies said the burger was the best McDonald's ever had the last time it was on the menu.

One wrote: “This is one of the best burgers I've ever tasted, honestly Nice kick it too and pepper sauce is my favorite – would definitely recommend.”

Another stated: “Absolutely the best McDonald's burger ever.

“Serious combination of flavors. I love it.”

Foodies are disappointed that the burger is being removed from the menu.

One said: “Steakhouse Stack is probably the best burger you've ever released, the patties taste better, even without the pepper sauce it's by far the tastiest.

“But like all good things you take it away and leave the boring old menu the same.”

It's not just the burger fans we'll be saying goodbye to.

The Fajita Chicken wrap, which was first introduced to menus in January 2020, is also being phased out.

It returned earlier this month with a new recipe that combines creamy fajita sauce and tomato salsa with onions, cheese and shredded lettuce, all in a toasted tortilla wrap.

The dish has been highly anticipated and several fans have called for it to be made permanent.

One wrote: “Fajita chicken wrap cannot be removed please.”

Another said: Instead of getting rid of the fajita chicken wrap (which is a solid 12/10), make everyone's favorite and save it and throw away ALL the other garbage wraps you have on your menu, thanks, literally everyone with taste buds.”

Cheesy Garlic Bites are also disappearing – it was last on menus in August 2023, after first launching in 2021.

They combine a mix of mozzarella and emmental cheese, in a garlic herb coating.

For those of you with a sweet tooth, you'll be sad to know that two McFlurrys are being cut.

Both the Cadbury Caramel McFlurry and the Cabury Dairy Milk McFlurry are only available until February 6.

They mix classic dairy milk chocolate with vanilla ice cream, with sweet caramel sauce or chocolate sauce.

Here is the full list of those being removed:

  • Steakhouse stack
  • Cadbury Dairy Milk McFlurry
  • Cadbury Caramel McFlurry
  • Cheesy garlic bites
  • The Fajita Chicken One

What will be added to the McDonald's menu?

It's not all bad news though, as from February 7 there will also be an influx of new dishes and treats.

The new items include the KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry and Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie.

Every time the burgers make a comeback, they are a huge success, with many calling for them to be made permanent.

Here's the full list of menu items they came from next one month and their prices:

  • KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry – £2.19
  • KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry mini – £1.59
  • KitKat Milk Chocolate McFlurry – £2.19
  • KitKat Milk Chocolate McFlurry mini – £1.59
  • Raspberry and White Chocolate Cake – £1.99
  • Big Tasty – £7.69
  • Big Tasty with bacon – £8.49
  • Mozzarella Dippers with a salsa dip – £2.39
  • Mozzarella Dippers share box with salsa dip – £6.49

SHOPPERS have been left gutted after Next confirmed it will no longer sell a clothing brand that is a favorite for cheap and trendy fashion.

The retail giant has confirmed that it will no longer sell Tesco's F&F clothing on its website, meaning the brand will be completely unavailable online.

1

Tesco closed its homewares and clothing site Tesco Direct in 2018 as it was deemed unprofitable, meaning customers could only buy F&F clothing in certain stores.

The following year there was joy for fans after Tesco announced that a limited range of F&F items would be sold by Next.co.uk.

But this month Next confirmed it would end the service and sell the remaining F&F shares on clearance.

Customers have criticized the decision, with one saying: “I really miss being able to buy clothes online and pick them up in store as you can't rely on Tesco stores to have ranges and sizes. I think it really strange that you don't do that.” order online.”

A second said: “Has Next please stopped selling the F&F brand? I bought all my F&F clothes from Next.”

While a third said: “Why are your clothes no longer advertised on Next's website? So frustrating.”

Another was annoyed by an Instagram post from F&F in which influencer Zoe Towell unwrapped new clothes from a cardboard F&F box.

The customer wondered: “How does that F&F box even exist if you can't buy online!

“Even Next appeared to have stopped selling F&F (how limited stock they had).

“Shops are useless and there's no way to find out which Tesco stores have big F&F sections. I've given up buying this stuff, it's boring now”

Hundreds of others have urged Tesco to sell its F&F range online.

The brand is popular because its modern, trendy styles also fit within the budget, with women's denim shirts priced at €18, skirts for €19.50 and bomber jackets for €25.

But apart from only being stocked in certain Tesco stores, there is no guarantee that a particular F&F piece will be available in a particular branch and in all sizes.

The brand has its own Facebook and Instagram pages showcasing items from its range, with the Facebook page liked by more than 2 million followers.

Another downside is that there are usually no changing rooms available, so customers have to take the clothes home to try on.

Next declined to comment and Tesco did not respond to requests for comment.

In response to complaints about the lack of availability on social media, Tesco said: “…despite not being online at the moment, we are working to make our shopping experience the best it can be and are taking your feedback on board.”

NETFLIX has finally decided to discontinue its cheapest ad-free plan, six months after it stopped offering it to new subscribers.

The so-called Basic plan costs £7.99/$11.99 per month and has only been available to existing customers since July last year.

The streaming giant abruptly removed the cheapest ad-free plan from its subscription options last year, before raising prices in October.

The Basic subscription will disappear in the second quarter of this year for customers in Great Britain and Canada.

But people in the US will be the next to see it disappear.

Executives said the basic plan will disappear in countries where ad-supported plans are available.

The announcement came alongside Netflix's fourth quarter results, in which bosses revealed the company raked in $8.83 billion in the three months to the end of January – up 12 percent on the same period a year earlier.

On the fourth-quarter earnings call, co-CEO Greg Peters said the ad-supported tiers are designed to provide better overall value than the Basic plan.

With the advertising plan, he said: “[Customers] get a better plan than Basic, more streams, higher resolution with downloads.

“And of course the real benefit is that they get access to all these great stories at a lower effective price.”

'Greedy'

After months of subscription turmoil and price increases, it appears Netflix customers are finally at the end of their rope.

“I wonder why they are purposely fueling their rig?” one spectator asked on X (formerly Twitter).

Another tweeted: “Time to unsubscribe.”

Many have reacted to the move, saying they will be canceling their subscriptions, calling the company “greedy.”

By doing away with the Basic plan, Netflix subscribers on the Standard £10.99/$15.49 plan remain the cheapest ad-free option.

The decision comes as Netflix made the surprise announcement that it had struck a $5 billion deal to air WWE's Monday Night Raw for the next decade.

The lofty deal will see Netflix host the weekly live show via its streaming platform after more than 30 years in linear television.

Netflix has invested in 4K picture quality and its gaming suite in recent years.

These are unlikely to be free forever, as executives hinted in Netflix's fourth quarter report that as they “invest in and improve Netflix, we will occasionally ask our members to pay a little extra to reflect those improvements.”

But the company's deal with WWE marks its biggest move into the sports arena yet.

A star doctor from the REALITY TV show has been axed after sharing misleading and offensive posts on Facebook.

NHS medic Dr Ricky Allen has been kicked out of the profession after spreading anti-vax messages and racist and homophobic abuse on the social media site.

Dr. Allen, who appeared on the Channel 4 show Hunted, raged on Facebook that only a 'brainless dunce' would get a Covid jab.

He also branded Scotland's people as 'despicable, stingy and mean-spirited' and described Islam as a 'religion for dirty old men'.

He also called for “machine guns every 200 yards” along the Kent coast, leaving bodies “burnt on the beach”.

Dr. Allen, who worked as a GP and hospital doctor for more than 30 years, has now been dismissed by the General Medical Council.

A tribunal hearing was told of a raft of offensive messages he shared on Facebook – including insults aimed at the 'lazy, fat, brain-dead British public' who believed in 'this Covid scam'.

His posts amounted to 'serious' misconduct affecting his fitness to practice, the GMC has now ruled its findings report.

His appearance on Channel 4 took place in 2015, when he was one of several participants posing as fugitives trying to escape surveillance experts.

He has also appeared in an anti-vaccine YouTube video.

Dr. Allen retired in 2018 after a 33-year career, but returned to the NHS in March 2020 when the pandemic hit.

He worked as a GP in the emergency department at Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate, Kent.

A police support officer complained to the GMC in July about his anti-vax posts and the temporary permit to practice he was given was revoked.

In one message he wrote: 'Only a brainless half-mind would consider having an experimental and sometimes fatal chemical injected into themselves irreversibly and repeatedly.

'Apparently there are a lot of idiots like that walking around. Don't be one of them.'

He also wrote: 'The greater mass of the British public, the fat, lazy, brain-dead farm animals that they are, have gobbled up this Covid scam as it was spoon-fed to them by the media.

“They deserve everything that's coming to them. It's natural selection at work.”

'Abuse of his position as a doctor'

Dr. Allen, who represented himself at the tribunal, admitted that sharing the messages that investigators said could damage public trust in the medical profession.

His name and GMC registration number were attached to his Facebook posts, the report said.

The tribunal also found that he wrote “derogatory” comments about race, religion, immigration, same-sex relationships and transgender issues.

He used Facebook to describe Islam as “the religion for dirty old men” and “illegal aliens” as “a plague”, turning the French capital Paris into an “open sewer”.

He also complained that “the Scots are whining again”, adding: “They are a despicable, stingy and mean-spirited race. And half of them are drug addicts.”

And he raged that “men who live the fantasy of being women are perverts in the true sense of the word” and that Britain has “imported a lot of filth into this country”.

In his testimony to the tribunal, he accepted responsibility for the posts but insisted the “vast majority” of the public would agree with him, the GMC report said.

He also said he became increasingly concerned in 2020 about what he called the government's “fear-mongering” pandemic response.

He also accused the GMC of “dancing to the tune of its political masters” by investigating him Mail reported.

But the GMC ruling said his comments were derogatory and would damage the reputation of the medical profession.

It said: “Most members of the public would be shocked by Dr. Allen's comments.”

His anti-vax comments went “beyond legitimate debate” and his behavior fell “well below the standards of conduct expected of a registered medical practitioner”, the GMC report said.

His “regrettable” comments about “a wide variety of people whose characteristics he disliked” amounted to “serious” misconduct, the tribunal said.

Despite not endangering patient safety, he “abused his position as a physician and the trust placed in him by the public,” it added.

He has one month to appeal the decision to immediately remove his name from the medical register.
