A ‘paid to party’ influencer has had one of her TikTok videos banned by advertising watchdogs – after drinking four cocktails in less than 90 seconds.

Danielle Walsh, from Belfast in Northern Ireland, had made the video as a paid advertisement for drinks company VK.

However, she failed to identify it as an advertisement and it subsequently broke Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) rules about encouraging excessive drinking.

The party animal, who has more than 400,000 followers on TikTok, regularly posts videos of herself consuming alcoholic drinks and describing what she drinks before a night out.

Despite drinking a lot, Danielle says she never gets a hangover thanks to eating pickled onion chips and Diet Coke.

Danielle Walsh, 36, from Northern Ireland, had her TikTok banned by the ASA

She failed to identify the advert as an advertisement and subsequently breached Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) rules on encouraging excessive drinking.

She failed to identify the advert as an advertisement and subsequently breached Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) rules on encouraging excessive drinking.

The social media star was seen in the video making four cocktails for ‘pres’ by pouring a variety of alcohol for free, including vodka, peach schnapps, Amaretto and a whiskey liqueur.

After making them by mixing VK alcopops with various spirits, the 36-year-old aid worker announced her intention to ‘do four in one’ and downed all four drinks in less than a minute and a half.

The ASA has now banned the video because it encourages excessive drinking and is not clearly identifiable as an advertisement.

The regulator explained that the video showed Ms Walsh – who has her own line of metal straws that allow drinkers to “sip pints like an exhaust pipe” – standing behind a bar with a row of glasses in front of her as music played in the background. .

She turned to the camera and said, “So for the pres tonight I want to show you what we’re drinking.

“We’re going to do four in one because we’re going to get relief tonight.”

Mrs. Walsh then made four cocktails and said, “Let’s try it,” after making them all and drinking them quickly.

The cocktails combined different flavors of VK alcopops with vodka, peach schnapps, Amaretto and whiskey liqueur that were poured into the glasses ‘free’.

As they were being made, images appeared on the screen showing the ingredients of each cocktail, the name and the VK logo.

The text at the bottom of the video, which was posted in October 2023, read: ‘Lets make some drinkssss.’

ASA regulators complained that the video was ‘irresponsible’ because it encouraged excessive alcohol consumption, and was not clearly identifiable as an advertisement.

The ASA ruling stated that Global Brands Ltd, the company that owns VK, confirmed that they had provided Ms Walsh with the alcoholic drinks used in the advert in return for her promoting their brand on her TikTok channel.

They explained that they had asked Ms Walsh to create a series of videos showing the creation of each cocktail, rather than “one video showing four cocktails being made and consumed.”

They also claimed to have stipulated that their products would be promoted in a ‘responsible manner’ and had asked to approve the videos before they were posted.

On this occasion the company said this had not happened and that Ms Walsh had posted the videos without their final approval.

VK also accepted that the video should have been clearly labeled as an advertisement and said they had asked Ms Walsh’s agent several times to remove the video, although their requests had not been acknowledged.

Ms Walsh said VK had not paid her for the post and agreed to remove the video while it was investigated.

TikTok said alcohol advertising was banned on its platform and the ad had been removed by its creator.

ASA Rules for Social Media Advertising

Make sure the content is clearly recognizable: Marketers (and ‘publishers’) must pay particular attention to ensuring that marketing communications are clearly recognizable as such.

It may be that in some cases including a clear identifier (e.g. ‘#ad’ or similar) is the simplest way to achieve this

Please note differences between platforms: Marketers (and publishers) should ensure that content is clearly identifiable to all consumers who encounter the material prior to interacting, and should take into account any limitations and technical ‘quirks’ on the platform they are using (e.g. any limitations on the number of characters, how many are visible.

On Instagram, this means that hashtags cannot be ‘hidden’ on the last line of a long caption.

Please note that the rest of the Code applies: Because advertorial content falls within the scope of the CAP Code, all relevant rules will apply and must therefore, among other things, not materially mislead consumers or give rise to serious or widespread offences.

In another recent video, she mixed blue WKD with rose wine while loud music played in the background.

The ASA ruling states that the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code) states that advertisements must be ‘socially responsible’ and must not contain anything that could encourage people to adopt ‘unwise’ drinking styles .

The ruling added: ‘The ASA understood that ‘pres’ was a reference to ‘pre-drinking’ or ‘pre-drinking’, the practice of consuming alcohol at home before going to a pub, bar or club, where still more alcohol would be consumed. be consumed.

‘We understood that pre-drinking was often intended to achieve intoxication before visiting a licensed premises, and as such we considered that the reference to ‘pres’ in the advertisement implied that alcohol would be consumed in excessive quantities.

‘We understood that the word ‘lit’ has a long history as a slang term for being drunk.

‘We felt that consumers were likely to associate the phrase ‘we’re getting lit tonight’ with excessive alcohol consumption and getting drunk.

‘We also felt that the comment ‘We’re going to do four in one’ expressed Ms Walsh’s intention to drink four cocktails in one video, which further implied the excessive consumption of alcohol.

‘[Ms Walsh] did not measure any of the ingredients in the drinks; pouring the alcohol everywhere for free.

‘We noticed that the volume of “mixer” in each cocktail was minimal.

‘In addition, Ms Walsh drank each cocktail quickly after making it, consuming all four drinks in less than 90 seconds, demonstrating that excessive amounts of alcohol had been consumed in a short period of time.

‘Because the advertisement encouraged excessive drinking and indicated that alcohol was being handled and served irresponsibly, we concluded that this was irresponsible and therefore contrary to the Code.’

Subsequently, ASA also enforced a second breach of the CAP Code, stating that marketing communications must be ‘clearly identified as such’.

Regulators noted that while Ms. Walsh said she had not been paid by VK to make the video, VK had confirmed that they had “provided her with the products for free in exchange for her promoting their brand,” which she viewed as “as payment ‘.

She regularly posts videos of herself consuming alcoholic beverages and describing what she drinks before a night out (photo)

She regularly posts videos of herself consuming alcoholic beverages and describing what she drinks before a night out (photo)

“We therefore considered that VK had editorial control over the post, despite some of their requests being ignored by Ms Walsh,” the ASA ruling said.

‘We did not find that the recipe images made it clear that there was a commercial relationship between Ms Walsh and the VK brand.

‘Although Ms Walsh made frequent references to the VK brand in the video… the post was not clearly identifiable as a marketing communication and did not make its commercial intent clear.

The ASA concluded that the advert should not appear again in the same form and warned Global Brands Ltd and Ms Walsh against encouraging excessive alcohol consumption in future videos, and that these were clearly identifiable as advertisements.

Cat Deeley enjoyed a three-day surprise trip to Cabo this weekend ahead of her appearance on This Morning.

The presenter, 47, will take over as the new permanent daytime presenter alongside Ben Shephard next month.

And Cat made sure she was best prepared for the early start as she headed to Cabo beach for some ‘rest and relaxation’ in a black bikini.

The TV presenter, who was in Cabo ahead of the release of series 18 So You Think You Can Dance, took to Instagram to share a slew of photos from her holiday as she enjoyed cocktails and read Sally Rooney’s Normal People.

Cat will start her role on This Morning on March 11, alongside 49-year-old Ben, who is leaving Good Morning Britain after more than a decade.

Now that she has taken the new job, Cat will reportedly lose her old role on So You Think You Can Dance in the US, where she was paid an estimated £43,000 per episode. Instead, she opted for the role on This Morning with a reported £43,000. 550k annual salary.

It was claimed that Cat had finally been won over with a more lucrative deal, but insiders at ITV denied the claims – insisting that it was the opportunity to spend more time with family, during a big-money payday, that ultimately sealed the deal sealed.

The news was confirmed via a bespoke promo on This Morning’s Twitter.

Cat said: “This Morning is a national institution. Whenever it’s on, it’s like having your friends over – funny, smart, silly, sincere, informative and cheerful – like all best friendships!…

‘This morning is and remains the viewer’s show. Ben and I both know how much people love it, and with the help of a great team of people, we’re going to do our best to make it happen.”

A bar has made a nod to Saltburn’s most bizarre scenes, hosting a theme night dedicated to the film – complete with a bathtub, ‘Gin J**z’ cocktails and flashy costumes – referencing some of the most disturbing parts of the film.

The £25-a-head bash at The Raven in Bristol promised a ‘journey into decadence’ for its guests as partygoers celebrated on Friday evening.

The hit 2023 film’s explicit bathroom scene was one of the biggest talking points, leaving some viewers ‘traumatized’.

In the scandalous scene, Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), who is in love with his fellow student Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi), secretly drinks his bathwater as it drains from the bathtub.

The Raven’s ‘An Evening At Saltburn’ offered guests cocktails inspired by the daring moment, and the opportunity to pose in their very own version of the bath.

A bar has divided opinion by hosting a Saltburn-themed evening, complete even with that bathtub

“It was a kaleidoscope: a Midsummer Night’s Dream crossed with the grungy Saltburn aesthetic,” said one partygoer.

‘We were most blown away by the burlesque dancer – who performed with fire.

‘Our favorite cocktail was the Bath Gin J**z – it tasted like sorbet and something salty.

‘I also loved the lip-smacking butler, who greeted guests on arrival and handed out egg sweets – a lovely reference to the film where Ollie (Barry Keoghan) asks for eggs.

“It was a great night, all it took was Barry Keoghan.”

An Instagram ad for the Feb. 23 event also promised DJs, burlesque and other “roaring performers.”

Meanwhile, the cocktail list included ‘Bath Gin J**z’, ‘Blood and Pants’ and ‘Sex on the Grave’ – the latter referencing another controversial scene.

Many revelers wore Barry Keoghan-inspired deer antlers and extravagant ensembles tied to the film’s rich party culture.

Saltburn was released theatrically in Britain on November 17 last year.

It was then streamed on Amazon on December 22.

The critically acclaimed film has since received several accolades, including two Golden Globe Award nominations.

After the bath scene, a number of retailers started selling ‘Jacob Elordi bath water’ scented candles.

Cruelty-free cosmetics retailer Lush went one step further by introducing its Saltbomb – a blend of coconut milk powder and mineral-rich coarse sea salt, while sharing a scent with the brand’s moisturizing bubble bar, Milky Bath.

The company has gone to great lengths to promote this product, even having their models pose in a manner reminiscent of Oliver.

“Bring it on, Saltbomb’s salty, milky bathwater is fit for a stately splurge,” reads the website description.

Lush’s limited edition Saltbomb (£5) is available online and via the Lush app, while supplies last.

Meanwhile, an ice cream retailer in the Lake District also shocked customers by launching ‘Jacob Elordi’s Bathwater’ as a flavour.

We had barely been at the club for an hour when I turned to my husband and said, “I’m sorry, I’m going back to the hotel.” I really don’t feel great.’ He seemed as disappointed as I felt.

There we were, in Ibiza, on a child-free mini-break, looking for those heady days when we first met, when we drank late and went out until dawn, but it all seemed hollow. That desire for hedonism had just disappeared. All the things I used to love made me feel. . . Nothing.

It wasn’t until I read Dr. Max’s column last week that I realized what was behind it. Ozempic, the weight-loss drug I had been taking for the past five months, had not only helped me lose weight, but had also affected the pleasure I got from other things. Like Dr. Pemberton, Ozempic had dramatically affected my relationship with both alcohol and food.

Since I started last summer, I pretty much stopped drinking. And as a forty-something who still had a bit of a reputation as a party girl, the impact on my life was enormous.

The decision to take Ozempic – prescribed to treat type 2 diabetes – was not one I took lightly. (Another brand, Wegovy, is now prescribed by the NHS to treat weight loss.)

After reading Dr. Max Pemberton’s column last week, the writer understood that Ozempic had affected her relationship with alcohol

I was 42 and had had a baby two years earlier. Despite eating healthily and staying fit (I had a personal trainer, had run a marathon and taken on various exercise challenges), I couldn’t lose the weight.

At 6ft tall and over 12 stone, I was classified as obese. I didn’t recognize myself.

I spoke to some friends who were using Ozempic and researched their medical paperwork before sending my details and photos to an online pharmacy who agreed I was a suitable candidate.

Shortly after I started taking it last June, it changed my attitude towards food. Not only does it soothe the hunger pangs, but I also noticed that I didn’t feel like eating anything anymore. I always thought, ‘I really want a pizza.’ Or ‘I would like a Pret sandwich.’ or crave a baked potato.

But none of that was there. It was a strange suppression of my food cravings.

It had the same effect when it came to alcohol. I work in digital marketing and do quite a bit of customer entertainment. I like margaritas, espresso martinis, champagne. . . or did.

But after taking Ozempic, nothing tasted good. It was bitter or sour, and when I drank I didn’t get the buzz from the drink that I did.

In the past, when I was out with a client, we might have a few cocktails and a few bottles of wine over dinner. When I was out with friends, we would drink champagne or margaritas. When I went to the club with my husband and friends at the weekend, we would drink two or three gin and tonics before leaving the house, and at night it wouldn’t be unusual for me to drink eight or nine vodka sodas.

But on Ozempic I stopped drinking alcohol completely.

Most people knew I was on a health kick, even though I hadn’t told them I was taking Ozempic, so it wasn’t hard to explain the change in my behavior. And if anyone wondered where I got the willpower, they didn’t ask. I still went out with clients and friends, but I ordered one drink and nursed it with a bottle of sparkling water all night long.

Of course, ditching the booze undoubtedly helped with weight loss, but I also experienced the other benefits of being sober. I slept better (when I wasn’t in the mood for the little one), and because I wasn’t hungover, my productivity improved and I was better able to deal with toddler tantrums.

While I’m not sure I would have ditched alcohol without Ozempic, I couldn’t really complain about it.

However, that evening in Ibiza surprised me. I had had some sangria earlier that evening and I think the unexpected sugar injection hit me hard. That’s the thing about Ozempic, I don’t know if it’s physiological or psychological, but it makes you want to make healthier choices, live a healthier life.

And when you don’t, you really feel it.

Ozempic – prescribed to treat type 2 diabetes – can help people lose weight

Ozempic – prescribed to treat type 2 diabetes – can help people lose weight

The rest of the trip was the same. We had tickets to some of our favorite clubs, but my heart wasn’t in it. At 1am, with no booze to keep me going, I just didn’t feel like staying up. I also didn’t want to fall into bed for the kind of action we enjoyed pre-baby.

Losing weight with Ozempic has made me much happier with my body – after eight months I’m now close to eight and a half stone, my target weight, so I feel more comfortable wandering around in my underwear or being naked – but that’s not the case. hasn’t set our sex life on fire.

To be honest, I’m not sure I can blame my low libido solely on Ozempic. Having a toddler who doesn’t sleep has a big impact on that front, and my husband doesn’t have a particularly high sex drive, so often I was the one to initiate it.

But lately he’s been the one suggesting an “early night” and I’ve just gone along with it. There’s no doubt that Ozempic has changed the way I feel and respond to things I used to enjoy, but I’m starting to think it’s affecting me in the bedroom too.

If so, I hope I get my libido back when I get off it. Once I reach my target weight, I try to maintain it without the injections.

I feel like my brain has been reprogrammed when it comes to food. I can’t imagine going out and ordering a huge pizza, or craving something sweet like I used to. I’m not sure if the same goes for alcohol, but I know that staying away from booze helps me stay slim.

Until I started taking Ozempic and stopped drinking, I hadn’t realized that a night out would knock back 3,000 calories on drinks alone. And morning workouts (and waking up) are much more fun when you’re not working through a hangover.

I’d like to think the new, sober me is here to stay. But it remains to be seen whether Ozempic has temporarily tamed the party girl in me, or banished her forever.

An Ohio man who prosecutors say set fire to a church in anger last year by throwing Molotov cocktails at it as it planned to stage two drag shows was sentenced Monday to 18 years in prison. federal authorities said.

The man, Aimenn D. Penny, 20, of Alliance, Ohio, who was arrested and charged after the March 25 episode, pleaded guilty in October to violating the Church Arson Prevention Act and to using fire and explosives to commit a crime, according to federal prosecutors, who recommended a 20-year prison sentence.

“We hope this important sentence sends a clear and resounding message that this type of hate-fueled attack on a church in our country will not be tolerated,” said Kristen Clarke, chief of the Justice Department's civil rights division. said in a statement on Tuesday.

John W. Greven, a lawyer for Mr. Penny, said in an interview Tuesday that his client planned to appeal the verdict. He called Mr Penny's case “a classic example” of a young person looking for acceptance and turning to the internet to find it.

“I feel like he's been brainwashed by some people because there's actually nothing in his past that would ever indicate he would do something like that,” Mr. Greven said. “It's sad from all sides.”

The Community Church of Chesterland planned to host two drag shows on April 1, 2023. Days before the planned events, on March 25, the church reported to local police that the building had been damaged by Molotov cocktails overnight, according to a criminal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. According to the complaint, there were scorch marks on the front door and a sign outside the building. A sign on the site was also damaged.

The drag shows – one drag show intended for adults and one drag story hour for families – went on as planned.

“I'm not going to pretend that his violent and hateful actions didn't scare some people,” Jess Peacock, the church's pastor, said during Monday's sentencing hearing. “It did. We had a few people leave the church, and the preschool that operated out of our building chose to find a new home.”

The FBI's Cleveland Field Office learned during the investigation that Mr. Penny was responsible for the attack and that he was a member of an Ohio group called White Lives Matter, which he said held “racist, pro-Nazi and homophobic views ' has. to the complaint.

Earlier that month, members of that group had attended a drag event in Wadsworth, Ohio, where they carried swastika flags and shouted racist and homophobic slurs and “Heil Hitler,” the complaint said. Mr. Penny attended that event wearing camouflage pants, a tactical vest and a jacket with a firearms patch, the complaint said.

Shows featuring drag performers that challenge assumptions about gender have become a battleground over gender and identity in the United States in recent years. Supporters see family shows as opportunities to welcome young people who may be uncomfortable with traditional gender roles, while opponents, often conservatives and Republicans, argue that the performers want to target children and sexualize them.

Several states, including Tennessee, Idaho and Texas, have considered legislation that would rein in performance. The Supreme Court in November declined to revive a Florida law that restricted the performances.

The Anti-Defamation League and LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD said Tuesday that they had found at least 41 other anti-LGBTQ+ episodes targeting religious institutions between August 2022 and August 2023.

This data reflects “a growing rise in anti-LGBTQ+ hate and extremism in the US,” Kelly Fishman, regional director of the Anti-Defamation League, said in a statement. “We hope this sentence will send a strong message that such hate-motivated crimes will never be tolerated.”

The Community Church of Chesterland prides itself on being “an open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ,” according to its Facebook page. The church community encourages people to always be themselves, and states that 'the law cannot tell you who you are', and that includes 'religious extremists'.

In a statement posted on Facebook on Tuesday, the church said it was “relieved to finally have closure on what happened last year, but we are not celebrating Mr. Penny's sentence.”

“It is a tragedy that ignorance and hatred will put this young man's life on hold for nearly 20 years,” the church wrote. “It is also tragic that progressive churches, synagogues and mosques have to devote so much energy and resources to vigilance against the violence of small-minded people.”

In recent referendums, the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico – about 1,000 miles southeast of Miami – voted to become America's 51st state. And it could have become a reality if reluctant U.S. senators hadn't blocked it.

With more than 500 kilometers of coastline and 300 days of sunshine a year, Puerto Rico is the American equivalent of our Costa Del Sol, with no fewer than 120 flights a week with 20 airlines to the capital San Juan.

It is the third largest Caribbean island, after Cuba and Jamaica. The country, which is about half the size of Wales, consists of the main island of Puerto Rico and a number of smaller islands with some of the best beaches in the world. Dollars are also the local currency, while Americans are not required to show a passport, further increasing the American appeal.

With so many connections, it's easier than ever to visit – for example, JetBlue sells return flights from Heathrow via New York from £550.

A POTTEN HISTORY

In recent referendums, the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico – about 1,000 miles southeast of Miami – voted to become America's 51st state

Puerto Rico (meaning 'rich port'), was originally home to the indigenous Taino people and was ruled by the Spanish for 400 years after the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1493. The country was conquered after the Spanish-American War of 1898 acquired by the Americans and Puerto Ricans have been considered American citizens for about a hundred years.

Each group of rulers left their mark on Puerto Rico. Ancient Taino petroglyphs can be found at La Cueva del Indio in Arecibo. Then you have the 16th-century UNESCO-listed fortifications of Castillo San Cristobal in old San Juan. The legacy of American culture is the usual fast food chains and hotels/motels everywhere.

PINA COLADA, PLEASE

Pina Colada is the official drink of Puerto Rico

Pina Colada is the official drink of Puerto Rico

Although disputed, this classic cocktail was reportedly invented by bartender Ramon Marrero at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan in 1954.

Whatever its history, in 1978 the pina colada was declared the official drink of Puerto Rico – and it's available just about everywhere.

BEAUTIFUL BEACH

Playa Flamenco on Culebra Island is often ranked among the best beaches in the world and is best enjoyed on a day trip by boat (sailgetaway.com).

Along with pristine white sand and calm, shallow water, it is notable for two rusty tanks that date back to when the US Navy used the island for target practice between 1936 and 1975.

SAND LESS TRAVELED

La Playuela is a quiet, crescent-shaped beach in the southwest.

It's wild, untouched and requires a dirt drive or a hike to get there.

Upon arrival, you'll be rewarded with spectacular views of the limestone cliffs, with the 19th-century Cabo Rojo Lighthouse standing sentinel at one.

STREET ART AND SALSA

With a heritage that includes Taino, Spanish, African and American traditions, Puerto Ricans call themselves Boricua – the word that encompasses the island's art, music, dance and culture.

Art can be seen everywhere, from the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico (mapr.org) to graffiti murals in the Santurce neighborhood of San Juan. As for music, the islanders are responsible for salsa and, like it or not, reggaeton – a lively mix of reggae, Latin American melodies and hip-hop.

LIGHT UP THE NIGHT

Three of the world's five bioluminescent bays are in Puerto Rico. In this phenomenon, millions of microscopic marine organisms emit a mesmerizing blue-green light. Take one of the evening kayaking trips to see them in Laguna Grande, Mosquito Bay or La Parguera.

THE PARADISE FOR THRILL SEEKERS

Toro Verde Adventure Park, in the Central Mountain Range, is home to an adrenaline-pumping zipline known as The Monster. Fly a mile and a half over the hilltops of Orocovis as you reach speeds of 95 mph (155 km/h) (toroverdepr.com).

RAINFOREST ADVENTURES

El Yunque has some beautiful hiking trails where you can spot giant tree snails, Puerto Rican parrots, and tiny coqui frogs (which make a sound like birdsong) along the way. Stop for a refreshing dip in natural pools and shower under waterfalls (fs.usda.gov/elyunque).

Maya Jama enjoyed a relaxing first class flight to South Africa on Saturday ahead of the Love Island All Stars presentation.

Love Island All Stars, which starts on January 15, will see former islanders return to the villa in an attempt to find love for a second time.

And the Love Island host, 29, has been cherishing all the downtime she can get for her busy weeks ahead.

She enjoyed complimentary cocktails in Virgin Atlantic’s Upper Class Lounge as she waited to board her long-haul flight.

Maya shared a sweet selfie on Instagram tucked away in her bed as she woke up from her mid-air nap.

According to show insiders, producers have changed the format for the launch, with 12 reality stars set to arrive in the villa instead of the usual 10.

Maya recently admitted she’s ‘feeling the pressure’ to change up her racy Love Island outfits for the upcoming All Stars series.

She appeared on This Morning on Friday, where she told presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary all about hosting the ITV2 dating show and what lies ahead.

The television presenter, who has been making waves with her sexy and striking wardrobe since taking over from Laura Whitmore in 2022, admitted there is pressure on her to wear more striking looks.

Alison, 48, told Maya: ‘We have a What’s App group and all we talk about is your outfits. They have become an event. Are you a bit nervous about the next series, you’ve got to top them all, right?’

Maya replied, “It’s a little busy, especially for my stylist. Yesterday we did an installation and it went fine. Everyone has their own taste. But I have to dress so I feel good.”

For the teaser, Maya was helped out in a figure-hugging red dress with a plunging neckline and high leg slit.

She said of the future Love Island presenter: ‘I didn’t expect to become emotionally involved with the Islanders. You get your own connections and your heart gets broken when they get theirs broken. I have some friends from last year.”

It comes as bosses will reportedly bring in 12 ex-contestants instead of the usual 10.

A source said The sun: It’s a great line-up for the show – fans will have to tune in as it features loads of show favorites.

‘ITV is throwing everything at the series and everyone is saying it will be a huge hit.’

MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment.

Relationships will be tested as bomb blasts arrive and turn heads, leaving a number of lovelorn hopefuls heartbroken in the ultimate quest for love.

As the couples explore their connections and try to win the hearts of each other and the nation, only one pair will be crowned the winners of Love Island: All Stars 2024.

The line-up has yet to be announced, although Love Island 2019 contestant Ovie Soko, Paige Thorne from the 2022 series and Georgia Steel, who found fame in the 2018 season, are all reportedly taking part.

And their experience as former islanders will hopefully boost their chances of finding a relationship, because they already know what their preferences are, and who they want to whisper sweet nothings to in the Hideaway.

Love Island All Stars starts on Monday January 15 at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX.

Taylor Swift has given fans an exclusive glimpse into her star-studded 34th birthday celebration.

The pop singer shared Instagram photos documenting her epic celebrations, which saw Taylor party the night away at a New York City eatery alongside her A-list friends and several “squad” members.

The photos showed Taylor posing with friends Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, Sabrina Carpenter and more — but no sign of her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

She was presented with a frosted, layered cake by Zoe Kravitz and enjoyed a tasty cocktail with Jack Antonoff.

She showed off her cheeky side as she stuck her tongue out at the camera and held her nearly empty drink.

“I can’t believe this year… actually… happened?” Thank you for all your beautiful birthday wishes yesterday,” she captioned the post.

The photos showed the crowd cheering Taylor on as Zoë presented her with her birthday cake.

The partygoers gathered for a group photo where Taylor was seen putting an arm around Blake and another friend as Zoe held up the cake.

She also shared a photo of herself striking a silly pose with Sabrina.

The post comes after Taylor was spotted in style on her birthday as she headed out on the town with friends Blake, Gigi and more on Wednesday night.

The singer – who received a beautiful bouquet of flowers on her special day – looked ultra sexy in a glitzy $2,335 black Clio Peppiat mini dress, which put her legs on display.

The flirty gown featured a beautiful nighttime design with a large silver moon with sequins on the front and sparkling star and cloud appliqués.

She rested a glamorous black fur coat in the crook of her arms.

Swift stepped out of a black SUV with her security team and held Lively as they entered the swanky Freemans restaurant before heading to The Box nightclub.

Missing from the event was her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who a source told DailyMail.com is “very excited” to celebrate with her. PEOPLE confirmed he will be in Kansas City for mandatory training.

Earlier Wednesday, a bouquet of 20 pink peonies was delivered to Swift’s lavish Manhattan penthouse and brought inside by her security guard.

The flowers were believed to be from her boyfriend Travis Kelce, whom she started dating this summer.

An insider exclusively told DailyMail.com this week that Swift is “really excited” for her NFL star boyfriend to meet her friends and celebrate with her.

The source also said the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is “nervous” because he wants to spoil her and make it “the best day ever” for the superstar.

Many more flower deliveries arrived throughout the day, and a party truck was also seen picking up the remains of a fun evening at her apartment.

She enjoyed a PDA-filled pre-birthday party with Travis and his mother Donna in Kansas City, Missouri before jetting off to New York on Tuesday.

They were also joined by Travis’ teammate, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and his wife Brittany.

Since Travis is currently back in Kansas City for mandatory training, he was absent Tuesday night when Taylor kicked off her birthday celebration at Manhattan’s Zero Bond with BFF Selena Gomez, 31, and actor Miles Teller, 36.

However, insiders revealed that he is reportedly keen to continue celebrating her special day throughout the holiday, and even into 2024, with plans to join her on tour.

“Travis will be with her and he’s very nervous because he wants this to be her best birthday ever,” a source told DailyMail.com of her birthday.

“It’s not about gifts for him, even if he gets gifts for her, but he wants to give her an experience that will probably be more than just today,” she added.

“He wants to take charge at Christmas and New Year and make it all about her,” the source continued.

‘He wants to be with her as often as possible and after the season he wants to go on tour with her.

“They’re going to take their romance all over the world,” the insider said of the long-distance couples’ vacation plans. He’s really excited to make her feel like a princess.”

A separate source detailed Taylor’s plans for the evening, saying that Taylor is excited to introduce her new man to those closest to her.

“Taylor is celebrating her annual birthday party with close friends and is excited for Travis to meet them all,” they said.

“She’s in love and this is the best current life can offer her right now.”

The latest must-have drink for fashionistas, top athletes and hipsters? Pickle juice. Believe it or not, ‘pickle liqueur’ is popping up on cool cocktail menus and the Pickle Martini – or variations thereof – is tipped as the drink of choice this Christmas.

At Isabel in London’s Mayfair, a party venue favored by actresses Sienna Miller and Alicia Vikander, they serve a Garden Martini with yellow tomato and samphire (well, you can’t call it pickle juice when a cocktail costs £29). , can you?). While you’re at NoMad, the hip hotel where you’ll find models Alexa Chung and Adwoa Aboah, actresses Iris Law and Lena Dunham and rock star Courtney Love, those in the know order the Szechuan Gibson, a spicy twist on the classic dry martini with pickle juice and hot Szechuan oil. made from chili and Chinese herbs, and pickled pearl onions.

Admittedly, it doesn’t sound very glamorous, does it? Gherkin juice is the liquid used to pickle something (be it onions, gherkins, yellow tomatoes or samphire) and is usually a mixture of diluted vinegar with salt, sugar and various spices. So how did this simple drink become so elevated and timely?

Believe it or not, ‘pickle liqueur’ is popping up on cool cocktail menus and the Pickle Martini – or variations thereof – is tipped as the drink of choice this Christmas.

One of the first pickle juice-based drinks is said to have originated a few years ago in New York’s uber-cool Brooklyn, when a pickle-munching bartender was asked by a customer to serve a shot of whiskey followed by a shot of pickling . brine. He did as he was told, tasted it himself, was impressed with the result and the ‘pickleback’ was born.

The trend spread to Britain and now they are available in hipster bars across the country. Meanwhile, Florence Cherruault, founder of The Pickle House, whose Original Pickle Juice (from £7 for 500ml) is available at Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, has published a special book: Pickle Juice: A Revolutionary Approach To Making Better Tasting Cocktails And Drinks (£4.99, amazon.co.uk).

“Picklesap is great for cocktails,” says chef Chantelle Nicholson, who runs hip London’s Apricity (apricity restaurant.com), a low-waste restaurant. “It’s great in a Bloody Mary or a dirty martini, but my new favorite is freezing it and then scraping it to make a granita,” she says.

‘We serve it with marinated tomatoes and it gives it extra freshness.’

Some even say that adding pickle juice to your drink can prevent cramps, prevent you from getting a hangover – or save you from one the next morning.

That’s because the combination of sugar and salt is essentially a tastier form of one of those dehydration sachets, packed with minerals like potassium, sodium and magnesium. A great excuse to make a batch for your Christmas party!

Would you like to give it a try? You can wait until you finish the jar of pickled cucumbers lurking in the back of your refrigerator, or you can make your own.

DIY pickle juice

The basic pickle juice recipe consists of just four ingredients: vinegar, water, sugar and salt. It is up to you to add the desired herbs and spices: garlic, bay leaves, fennel seeds, mustard seeds, dill, coriander seeds, chili. Experiment until you come up with a combination that works for you.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml of water
  • 350 ml vinegar
  • 70 g sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of salt

Place all ingredients in a pan and heat until the sugar and salt have completely dissolved. Allow to cool and then use – for pickling or in cocktails.

Here are some cocktails to experiment with from The Pickle House recipe book:

In a pickle

The original Pickle Juice cocktail that inspired so many others, this simple classic has been a hit from the start!

Ingredients

  • 30 ml vodka
  • 15 ml pickle juice
  • 100 ml ginger beer
  • Squeeze lime
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Rosemary and red chili to garnish

Place all ingredients on ice and garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a red chili pepper if you like it spicy.

La Soiree

This is a unique concoction, combining the light sweetness of elderflower with the umami goodness of pickle juice.

Ingredients

  • 35 ml Hendrick’s gin
  • 15 ml St-Germain elderflower liqueur
  • 10 ml pickle juice
  • 7.5 ml egg white (or replace it with chickpea water to make it vegan)
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Ice cubes for shaking
  • 8 mint leaves, plus 1 mint sprig to garnish

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, cover with ice, close and shake vigorously for ten seconds. Pour the mixture into a martini glass and garnish with a sprig of mint.

Inlaid Vespers

Another classic cocktail with a little push towards the pickle.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml vodka
  • 10 ml dry vermouth
  • 5 ml pickle juice
  • Ice cubes for shaking
  • Lemon peel twist to garnish

Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake vigorously for ten seconds. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a slice of lemon.

Margot Robbie delighted guests at a trendy Sydney restaurant on Saturday when she gave them all free cocktails.

The Australian actress was on a date with husband Tom Ackerley at Mimi’s in the beachside suburb of Coogee when she ordered a round of drinks.

The 33-year-old offered fellow guests cocktails made with her own gin brand called Papa Salt, which she co-owns with her husband.

All 126 guests present in the eatery were treated to a free drink, presented by the Barbie actress.
