WAYNE Lineker has revealed his relationship with his older brother Gary is “not that good” and the pair barely speak.

The 61-year-old owner of the Ibiza nightclub said he has been estranged from the Match of the Day presenter since 2008, but insists there is no bad blood.

The bitter feud between party-loving Wayne and his football legend brother, Gary 63, has long been the subject of intense scrutiny and speculation.

But the cheeky TV personality has now opened up about the fact they have grown further apart.

“It’s not that good to be honest, we don’t really speak often. I will always be his biggest fan,” he told the Mail‘s podcast Straight to the comments!

Despite being as thick as thieves in their youth, the infamous club mogul explained that their differences became apparent as they got older.

“I had all the skills in the world, but I had no commitment, no obligations, I just wanted to be out there with the boys.”

Instead, he explained, “Gary had all the dedication there was, he was super committed, but we’re completely different siblings.

“He’s very straight and thin, and I’m very naughty and high. So yeah, that’s how we’ve always been.”

Wayne, who owns the wild O Beach Club loved by Love Islanders and Jack Grealish, insisted he has a good relationship with his four cousins ​​– George, Harry, Angus and Tobias – who call him ‘Space Wayne’.

“We’re so close. We have a very strong relationship,” he said, adding that they ended up carrying him home after a night out.

But despite his brother’s success in entertaining millions in one of TV’s highest-paid pundit roles, Wayne claims he beats him to the punch when it comes to social media.

An alleged disastrous introduction to Ibiza left the siblings angry with each other after Wayne claimed Boux had no interest in getting to know him.

Wayne was invited to their star-studded wedding a year later, but his 18-month-old girlfriend was boycotted by the NFI, leading to him boycotting the ceremony.

Their relationship, Wayne has previously admitted, never recovered.

On the recent podcast, the club legend also discussed the painful moment a Wembley Arena crowd chanted ‘pedo’ at him last year.

He had been brought on stage as a guest to promote the Peter Crouch Podcast, but a murmur began to ripple through the crowd.

“Suddenly, twelve thousand people are calling me a pedo because they think it’s funny,” he remembers.

Wineker thinks it was because people judged him for having a string of girlfriends between the ages of 25 and 30.

“It all comes from Twitter. I had to quit because I was getting so much abuse,” he revealed.

The owner of the O Beach nightclub was so upset by the incident that he left immediately.

A plasterer walks to Ibiza because he 'can't afford a flight' and has to trudge through a marathon every day for two months so he can party with Wayne Lineker at his beach club.

Henry Moores, 21, from Macclesfield, Cheshire, is desperate to visit the party island this summer and has planned an epic 1,200-mile walk through France and mainland Spain to get there.

The keen walker, who raised £20,000 for charity by walking 500 miles to Paris in October and November, is hoping to raise even more money with this adventure.

Harry messaged O Beach Ibiza owner Wayne Lineker on Instagram, promising that if he replied, he would put on his boots and hit the road – and to his surprise, the club mogul responded.

Lineker posted a video of the pair at his pad in London on Sunday, where he pledged his support for 'mad' Henry and promised to meet him in Ibiza to end the walk at his club.

In the video, Henry explained that he is taking on the challenge, which starts on March 2, because “he has never been to Ibiza and can't afford a flight.”

Despite planning to run the distance of 60 marathons in 60 days, Henry insists he will 'definitely have enough energy' to party when he crosses the finish line on May 2.

Henry plans to stay in a mix of hostels, B&Bs and campers during his trip and is currently looking for a sponsor to help cover costs.

He revealed that a number of family and friends have already booked tickets to meet him there, so he is feeling the pressure to complete the mammoth task.

Henry welcomed the fact that he won't have to pay for flights, luggage and hopefully accommodation for the trip.

He said: 'The flights, the luggage, the accommodation, the party – a lot of that should be done through the trip, rather than me having to pay for it.

'I thought I could walk to Ibiza and make a holiday of it, whilst raising money for charity and meeting Wayne Lineker.

“I contacted Wayne and went to his apartment, which was incredible. He put me in this position.

“I'll definitely have enough energy when I get there because everything goes out the window when you finish something like that.

'All the tiredness and everything is behind you, for at least one night I can leave it all behind me.

'Wayne has promised me a free opportunity and the rest hasn't been discussed yet. I don't want to say or expect too much, but I would like a free cocktail.

“Probably more than 15 friends and family have said, 'Yes, I'm coming,' and a few have said they've already booked it.

“They booked the bed, the tickets to Ocean Beach and the flights. It's exciting, but it comes with a lot of time pressure. I knew if I did something like that I would go to Ibiza.'

Henry plans to arrive in Ibiza the day before O Beach opens on May 3 and says Lineker plans to invite some famous friends.

He said he will release details on how to donate to his soon-to-be-chosen charities on his TikTok account @henryoscarmoores.

Lineker's video explaining the challenge has been viewed more than 1.7 million times, with many rushing to the comments to wish Henry the best of luck on his journey.

One commented: 'Hard stepper Henry. Keep going, boy. Enjoy the journey.'

A second said: 'Good luck mate. I have trouble walking to the refrigerator.” A third added: 'What a great guy!'

Chloe Madeley appeared in good spirits as she stepped out in Hampstead with her daughter Bodhi on Sunday following her break-up with James Haskell.

The personal trainer, who recently stepped out with 38-year-old James to spend time with Bodhi on Friday, was solo on this occasion.

The outing comes after James was spotted partying in Ibiza with a Chloe lookalike just weeks before they announced their split.

The former England rugby player was pictured with Chloe McLennan all summer while sharing a booth at the Ocean Beach Club in Ibiza.

According to a source for The sunChloe, also known as DJ Loeca, shared some industry advice with James.

The source revealed that people knew James’ career change was taking a toll on the relationship as he was often away from home, saying: ‘James and Chloe met on the DJ circuit in Ibiza.

‘It’s no secret that James’ new career choice has taken a toll on his relationship and caused arguments at home.

‘He was away a lot, forging his new brand, while she was in Britain as a mother to their 13-month-old daughter.’

Two women have described flying 10 hours to Ibiza after booking a return flight for £37 – saying it was cheaper than a day trip to London.

Clare Jeffs, 36, and Hannah Brown, 38, from Stockport, fancied a day out and decided to hop on a plane to sunny Ibiza.

The mothers spent £37 each on return flights, £70 on food and travel in March and walked 15,000 steps.

Hannah and Clare were delighted with their experience – although they didn’t know the area well before they arrived – and added that they hope to travel abroad again for a day in the not too distant future.

Clare said she would highly recommend it for ‘moms who want to chill’, adding: ‘It’s very exhausting but it’s so good to do. It’s something different and doesn’t have to cost much.’

Complaints advisor Clare: ‘Last year I had a baby. I haven’t been away from her a day since she was born.

“She has some medical issues, so I really didn’t want to take her on vacation. I assumed I wouldn’t be abroad for years to come.

‘So I went looking for a trip to England – London or something. But the flights were cheaper to go to Ibiza for the day.

‘I said to Hannah – ‘I think I’m going to do something really crazy and go to Ibiza for the day’ and she said ‘take me with you’.

“I knew she would.”

Hannah, a marketer, found someone to look after her twins – Charlotte and Sophie, nine – and Clare asked her husband, Sam, 32, to look after their 11-month-old daughter, Daisy.

Clare said: ‘I’ve been waiting for my husband to come back to ask if that’s okay because he’d have to book a day off to look after Daisy.

“He said yes – so we booked it right away.”

The friends took off on the two hour and 50 minute flight to Old Town, Ibiza, exploring the area before finishing the day at the beach.

Clare said: ‘The flight was for 05.45 and was all on time. Once there we picked up a rental car and drove to Old Town.

‘We had brunch, took a walk through the harbor and the old church and through the old streets.

‘Then we were sitting on a wall looking at the sea. It was beautiful.

‘We then went to the beach and ate paella, then drove to another beach where we stayed for a few hours before leaving around 8pm.

My favorite place was by the sea. I’m in my happy place by the sea, it was really relaxing watching the waves and de-stressing.’

Clare said, ‘We had our food at Cafe Montesol.

“It was recommended to us by a random girl on Twitter. I saw she was going to Old Town and I asked her where we should go for dinner.

“I had the best avocado on toast ever there. It was great and we had churros that were divine.’

They flew back to the UK at 9pm and arrived home at midnight.

Clare said: ‘When I got back I was so tired I fell asleep straight away.

“It felt weird to be back in my own bed that I was in this morning, but I felt refreshed when I woke Daisy up in the morning.

“For those who want to do it, I would say you could certainly have gone to cheaper places for food and had a smaller budget than us.”

Clare enjoyed their day out so much that she is already planning another day abroad to surprise Hannah for her birthday.

She said, ‘I can’t recommend it enough, it’s amazing.

“I loved having a day to myself and my best friend. I felt uplifted. It was a great idea. It was so nice to get away from real life for a while.

“I really recommend it for moms who want a day to themselves to chill.”

Jack Grealish partied at Wayne Lineker’s club in Ibiza on Thursday as he continued his drunken bow after his team’s historic Treble triumph.

The family’s holiday comes after Princess Mary’s eldest son, Prince Christian, shocked royal fans with a bold announcement ahead of his 18th birthday.

The young prince, who will celebrate his 18th birthday on Oct. 15, will break protocol by forgoing his royal stipend to focus instead on his education.

While the future Danish king is entitled to government funding once he reaches adulthood, he will not accept payments and become a full-time royal until he is 21 years old.

A statement on the Royal House’s Instagram page read: “Prince Christian’s main priority for the coming year is to complete the Prince’s upper secondary education.”

“For example, it has been agreed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that support in the Danish parliament for a law on the annual pension will only be sought when the prince turns 21 or through a possible succession of the throne, if that takes place earlier.”

The statement concluded by saying that Christian will no longer be in the limelight but will one day return to public appearances in an official capacity.

“Only after that is it expected that His Royal Highness will participate to a greater extent in official contexts,” it read.

“However, it depends on where the prince is at the moment in his education. Until then, Prince Christian will, just like today, only participate in official contexts to a limited extent.’

Although he has made many public appearances along with his parents and siblings, Christian is not yet a full-time working royal.
