A former Married At First Sight and OnlyFans star will appear in court after his lawyer indicated he will plead not guilty to drug trafficking charges in Adelaide.

Sebastian Guilhas appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday to face the charges, which stem from a raid on his Croydon home in July last year.

South Australian police officers reportedly seized about 1kg of meth with a street value of about $90,000 during the raid and Mr Guilhas was arrested and charged with trafficking in a commercial quantity of a controlled drug.

The gym-fit MAFS star appeared in the dock before magistrate Mary-Louise Hribal and his lawyer indicated he would plead not guilty.

Ms Hribal submitted the case to the district court on May 24.

The former porn star first rose to prominence on the Channel Nine dating show, which debuted in its seventh season in 2020.

The show listed him as a “personal trainer” and his profile labeled him as “eccentric and wacky”.

“His eccentric, crazy nature contrasts with the way he looks – 6ft tall, with an athletically chiseled physique – and he fears that while women may like his appearance, they may not accept what’s on the inside ” the profile said.

He dated bride Lizzie Sobinoff, but the couple split in 2021.

After the split, he turned to OnlyFans content creation.

Mr. Guilhaus also requested a modification of his bail conditions so that he could use the gym on the second floor of his apartment building.

Ms Hribal ordered a report to determine whether he could be effectively monitored while accessing his apartment’s private gym.

Mr Guilhas declined to comment after leaving court.

One of Australia’s top bodybuilders gets a 17-year prison sentence for selling large amounts of meth and coke – after trying to sell drugs to two cops in a rehab facility

A top bodybuilder dubbed ‘The Hulk’ has been sentenced to 17 years in prison after taking police to his meth lab at a rehab facility.

Luke McNally, 38, once ‘Mr Australia’ and owner of supplement chain Mass Nutrition, was sentenced in the County Court on Monday after being found guilty of dozens of drug-related charges.

He was found guilty of human trafficking for manufacturing commercial quantities of cocaine, MDMA, methylamphetamine and P2P.

McNally’s co-defendant, Wayne Doble, 65, was given a five-year prison sentence after being convicted of manufacturing and trafficking a commercial quantity of MDMA and possessing scientific glassware, equipment and substances for the purpose of this trafficking.

The court heard how McNally, 38, ran the drugs operation from three locations, including the former Daily Planet Brothel in Elsternwick. At the time of his offending, the location was a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center called The Wellbeing Planet.

McNally took undercover officers to a former brothel-turned-rehab facility to sell them drugs

The second location was next to the former brothel and the third was a garage in Wallan.

McNally met two undercover officers at St Kilda police station in July 2019 and, believing them to be meth users, told them to meet him at the rehab where he sold them $400 worth of ice in the common area.

He was arrested in December 2019 and has been behind bars ever since.

McNally pleaded guilty to selling drugs to the undercover officers and possessing a sawn-off 12-gauge shotgun. He also told undercover officers he had destroyed “evidence” in northern Victoria before a police raid.

He was born in Brisbane, grew up in northern NSW and received a bravery award for his efforts as a firefighter during the 2009 NSW floods.

He launched Mass Nutrition in 2006 and grew the company into the No. 1 nutrition brand in Australia, growing it into a $40 million empire.

However, the company was later investigated by police over claims that it was used to distribute drugs.

Judge Rosemary Carlin ruled that McNally had abused drugs and anabolic steroids. In 2014, he started using methylamphetamine to overcome the stress associated with his firefighting days. His drug use led to him committing his first crime in Queensland.

He will serve 10 years and seven months before being eligible for parole.

Controversial television personality Andrew O’Keefe has escaped conviction after pleading guilty to driving with meth in his system through Sydney’s most exclusive suburb.

The former Deal or No Deal presenter pleaded guilty at Downing Center Local Court on Tuesday to driving with an illegal drug in his system and breaching his bail conditions.

Police allege the 51-year-old was driving his gray Mercedes C200 sedan through Point Piper on January 20 when he was stopped by police.

A roadside breath test reportedly returned a positive result for methamphetamine before Mr O’Keefe was taken to Waverley Police Station for a secondary test.

During sentencing, Magistrate Miranda Moody said O’Keefe had since returned negative screens for illegal drugs and was being treated by a psychiatrist and psychologist.

“To his credit he has clearly had some problems with illicit drug use and I have been provided with material regarding his drug use or lack thereof,” Ms Moody told the court.

‘Nothing has been seen for a while. I also received a report from a psychologist and a psychiatrist. He is undergoing treatment.

“Given the enormous amount of work Mr. O’Keefe is doing in relation to his drug and health problems, I am prepared to impose no conviction.”

Instead, Ms Moody sentenced Mr O’Keefe to a 12-month community release order. He was given a maximum fine of $2,200 and a six-month driving disqualification.

Outside court, Mr O’Keefe told media he was “very satisfied” with the “sensible outcome” but said he had pleaded guilty to avoid possible delays in court.

“Two positives and two negatives (tests)… those are the requirements of the law, we had to plead guilty anyway or we might be delayed another six months,” he said.

Mr O’Keefe began his career as an intellectual property lawyer at law firm Allens Arthur Robinson before making a career switch to TV presenting at Channel Seven in 2003.

Documents tendered to the court show Mr O’Keefe remains unemployed after leaving the Connect Global Residential Drug and Alcohol Center in October 2022.

The documents reveal further insights into Mr O’Keefe’s life after rehabilitation, including $1000 a month he paid in rent for his home on South Head Rd in Vaucluse in Sydney’s east.

He earns about $26,000 a month in insurance payments, the documents say, and owes an amount of money to the Australian Taxation Office that he “could not legally disclose to police”.

At the time of the incident, Mr O’Keefe was parked in a cul-de-sac on Wunulla Rd, but drove away as police approached. He was the only occupant in the car at the time.

A second oral fluid sample provided at Waverley Police Station tested negative but was later deemed positive following analysis by the NSW Forensic and Analytical Science Service.

Asked about any drug use, Mr O’Keefe told police: ‘I don’t use them.’ He was later arrested at his home in Vaucluse on April 4 following oral fluid analysis.

During sentencing, Ms Moody said Mr O’Keefe’s driving ‘didn’t help him’, but told the court he had no similar offenses to his name.

Mr O’Keefe previously pleaded not guilty to the charges, admitting outside court that he ‘thought certain things that could affect the credibility of a saliva test’.
