Maddie Ziegler looked radiant and youthful as she graced the cover Teen fashion New Hollywood Edition.

The Dance Moms star smoldered for the camera as she rocked a mustard-colored Miu Miu strapless top with a long matching skirt.

Her short brown hair fell to her shoulders as she showed off her collarbone and natural makeup look.

Ziegler – who appeared on TV at the age of nine – spoke about growing up in the public eye.

‘It’s scary when people have such strong opinions about you and feel like they know you. But there’s something beautiful about that too,” she told the outlet.

Dance Moms premiered on Lifetime in 2011 and followed the elite youth dance team of Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

It also highlights the complicated dynamic between dance instructor Abby Lee Miller, her students and their over-the-top mothers.

Ziegler appeared on the show with her younger sister Mackenzie Ziegler, now 19, and mother Melissa Gisoni.

Ziegler was portrayed as Miller’s “favorite,” with the other mothers often accusing Miller of giving the young girl special treatment – the source of most, if not all, of the on-air arguments.

Ziegler, her sister and her mother left the show in season six and she previously revealed that she no longer speaks to Miller despite the bond they shared.

She also confessed to “blocking out” that part of her childhood.

Now 21, Ziegler told Teen Vogue that she has finally found a sense of self-worth afterward navigating the world as a child star.

The brunette beauty has left dancing behind and is now a working actress.

“Acting gives me the creative freedom to jump into different things, but it also helps me protect my own being,” she explained.

Having publicly grown up in an environment where she was the norm and couldn’t be rebellious, the star is now relearning boundaries.

“I’m growing up and it’s liberating to know I can stand up for myself,” she said.

After leaving that environment, the 21-year-old still feels that youthful spark that she carries with her even now.

‘I’m still that same crazy, loving, hard-working girl, but I’m also changing and growing. It’s scary when people say, “But you’re not who you were when you were younger.” And I have to explain: ‘Yes, because that’s just not realistic.’

The reality show alum shared the spotlight with several famous faces, including Barbie’s Ariana Greenblatt and The Summer I Turned Pretty’s Christopher Briney.

The concept of this edition takes every personality and turns each into a different type of artist.

Briney, 25, poses as he turns and shapes pottery with his hands, opting for a denim jacket and shorts.

Greenblatt, 16, was photographed upcycling materials to create a new piece while dressed in an unbuttoned orange shirt and black bandeau.

Ziegler will star in My Old A**, due out in August this year, in which she plays the character Ruthie.

The film stars Maisy Stella as a small-town Canadian teen in her last month of summer before college when she and her friends go crazy.

“I feel like the characters lived inside us,” the cover girl said said“We could go home and be ourselves, but the characters were still a part of us.”

A rare Lego piece found at a Goodwill store has been purchased for nearly $20,000 at an online auction.

The Bionicle Golden Kanohi Hau mask, manufactured in 2001, was found by employees at a branch of the nonprofit warehouse store in DuBois, Pennsylvania.

The 14-carat gold Lego mask weighed 26.14 grams and was one of 30 of its kind made at the time.

The mask was offered for a base price of just $14.95 Buy good will but following the discovery, the rare item was previously bid on for as much as $33,000.

Chad Smith, Goodwill’s vice president of e-commerce and technology, said WTAJ: ‘There are 30 of the golden ones. They make some silver and some platinum.

‘We’ve been talking about it all week. I actually haven’t even had a chance to think about it yet, but it’s pretty amazing.

“It just goes to show that you never know what you’re going to find on shopgoodwill.com.”

Some of the 30 pieces were donated to LEGO employees and the rest were awarded through a competition in 2001.

The mask is part of Lego’s Bionicle collection and, according to the toy manufacturer, the collection has “inspired a wide range of interconnected media including books, films, TV series, comics, video games and other licensed products” since 2001. and the original end of the line in 2010.

‘I think it’s really cool that there are so few, but it’s also pretty cool to discover the research behind it. And then the final step is to find the right collector to really take that with him.’

This discovery comes two months after a Virginia woman unknowingly found one of the rarest works of Italian art during her serendipitous vase shopping at her local Goodwill.

Jessica Vincent, 43, was browsing her local Goodwill when a 12-inch Murano glass vase covered in burgundy and green brushstrokes caught her eye.

She suspected there was something special about it and made a purchase for $3.99.

‘It was so unusual. It had such a quality. I knew it was a good piece of glass, with the mark on the bottom,” she said. “I knew he was coming home with me.”

After some research when she got home, Vincent was shocked to learn that the piece was a 1940s design by influential Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa, part of the Pennellate series he designed for Venini, a centuries-old glass workshop on the island of Murano .

In an effort to learn more, Murano uploaded a photo of the vase to a Facebook group and became even more excited by the response.

Members rushed to help her identify the rare item – some even started offering money to buy it.

One member even offered her $10,000 for the vase, but she declined; others suggested contacting Wright’s Auction House in New York.

When it went to auction on December 13, the piece was estimated to fetch between $30,000 and 50,000, but instead sold for $107,100.

In July 2023, a Kentucky man struck gold after discovering more than 700 rare gold dollars buried in his farm in what experts have dubbed the “Great Kentucky Hoard.”

The unknown person filmed himself digging up the loot – all minted between 1840 and 1863 – exclaiming: ‘This is the craziest thing that ever happened.’

One of the discovered coins – an 1863 $20 Gold Liberty – could fetch up to six figures at auction, experts say GovernmentMint said. The collection contains 18 of the extremely rare pieces.

It means that if each of them owns at least $100,000, the owner can get a payday of $1.8 million. And that does not apply to the hundreds of other rare coins in the collection.

A young woman living out of her car documented overnight conditions in subzero temperatures on a wintry night in Idaho, with both windchill and avalanche warnings in effect.

Rosa, originally from Philadelphia, has been on the road since 2017 and will celebrate the six-year anniversary of getting into her car in September 2023.

Last January, she ended up in Idaho in search of local hot springs, and faced a night in her car with temperatures as low as -33 F.

While sitting in her car, she captured the horrifying experience on camera and shared it on YouTube.

After running errands, Rosa prepared to spend the night and park her car a little higher due to the threat of an avalanche.

For dinner, she heated up a can of chili over an open fire in the back of her car, then gobbled it down with tortilla chips.

'I know the minimum tonight is around -25, but because of the wind chill they say it could be -40. But I'm in my car, so the wind chill shouldn't affect me. But if I tried to cook outside, it would certainly work!' she reasoned.

Then she wrapped herself up, stuffed a sleeping bag into a second sleeping bag, and covered herself with a huge blanket.

“Another thing I do when it gets really cold, especially below zero, throughout the night, I wake up throughout the night, turn on my car and let it warm up so everything doesn't get too hot. have a chance of freezing… just because it can be really hard on your engine and the fluids and everything when it's that cold,” she explained.

“So much for saving my coffee for today!” she said, chuckling.

Despite the frigid temperatures, Rosa was still determined to reach the nearby hot springs.

“When it comes to snow and winter, I think it takes some getting used to changing your plans,” she said. “And that's the fun of it, right?”

Boyle kon ontsnappen met een evaluatie van de geestelijke gezondheid en een behandelplan in een deal met het Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.

'Ik heb heel, heel veel geluk. Ik begrijp nu, op een persoonlijke manier, dat een psychisch probleem bij ieder mens kan ontstaan.'

Boyle beweerde dat de behandeling die hij als gevolg van zijn arrestatie in een instelling voor geestelijke gezondheidszorg moest ondergaan, zijn leven had gered.

De Republikeinen riepen hem op af te treden en zich ‘te concentreren op zijn persoonlijke gezondheid en het toekomstige welzijn van de mensen om hem heen’.

Maar de Democratische leiders bleven hem steunen, en hij won de voorverkiezingen van 2022 en had de overhand bij de algemene verkiezingen.
