Gunman at large after fatally shooting three people in Pennsylvania Township, police say

Three people were shot dead in Pennsylvania’s Falls Township on Saturday morning, according to authorities, who warned that the gunman remained at large and urged residents to shelter in place and close some locations and stores.

The gunman, identified by authorities as Andre Gordon, 26, was driving a stolen vehicle and killed two people at the residence in Levittown, Pennsylvania, Falls Township police said, citing what they said were their preliminary findings. They said they responded to reports of a shooting around 9 a.m

Mr. Gordon then shot and killed another person in nearby Morrisville before fleeing to a Dollar General parking lot, authorities said.

He then stole a car there at gunpoint and was last seen driving the car, a dark gray Honda, police said. The carjacking victim was not injured, police said.

Police warned that Mr Gordon was armed with an assault rifle and was believed to be in possession of other weapons.

Mr. Gordon knew the shooting victims, police said, adding that they believed he had ties to the Trenton, N.J., area, which is about 20 minutes away.

Authorities in neighboring townships also ordered Sesame Place, a theme park in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, closed as a precaution. Other stores followed suit on Saturday.

“This is a fluid situation and we are asking the community to take some precautions,” the spokesperson said Medieval community the police saidwarning residents to avoid travel to Falls Township until further notice.

Authorities in Bucks County called on Falls Township residents and adjacent areas to shelter and said they were assisting police in “an active investigation.”
