I immediately regretted my tattoo and cried my eyes out – it was so big and expensive
A TATTOO lover cried her eyes out for hours after her latest ink.
She explained that she immediately regretted the bad tattoo, which she said was not cheap.
In her videothe TikTok user (@user530266021160k) told the story of how she got a tattoo she didn't want.
“I recently got a tattoo that I absolutely hated and what makes it worse is that it was my biggest tattoo, my most expensive tattoo,” she explained.
The young woman explained that she had been planning the ink for over a year and had traveled to New York to get it.
“I spent days researching artists to find the perfect one, and I had so much confidence in this artist,” she said.
“I don't even want to share how much I paid for it, it would be the equivalent of a pretty nice cover.”
She told her viewers she was “so excited” leading up to the appointment, but her mood immediately changed when she saw the ink.
“When she turned around and showed it to me when it was done, my first reaction was, 'Holy shit, this is not what I wanted,'” she explained.
She described holding back tears as the artist took photos of her crafty work, but then asked for changes.
The tattoo artist said no, so the woman went back to her brother's apartment and “just cried hysterically by myself.”
She showed her followers the tattoo that she eventually got used to over time.
“It's these vines wrapping around my arm and honestly it's not a bad tattoo, it could have been a lot worse, at least it wasn't a typo or a straight up mistake,” she said.
“The thing is, it just wasn't what I wanted, it wasn't what I asked for.”
She explained that the colors and their arrangement were not as she imagined them.
“The whole thing was a miscommunication and I understand it was partly my fault,” she told her audience.
