Taylor – who is dating Kansas Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce – Completely missed Valentine's Day due to her travels and the whole romantic day in the sky.

She took off in Hawaii at 4:52pm local time on February 13 and didn't land until the early hours of February 15 AEDT due to the 21-hour time difference, meaning she missed the big day.

But she had just spent a few days with her boyfriend Travis in Los Angeles, celebrating with him after won the N.F.L Super Bowl, before heading Down Under.

Excitement for her Australian Eras tour is already building, as thousands of Swifties are set to take to the Melbourne Cricket Ground from February 16 to 18 and Accor Stadium in Sydney for her shows from February 16 to 26.

More than 600,000 tickets have been sold for her performances, and some fans go to great lengths to charter their own flights to get to her shows, according to travel agency Flight Center.

“Commercial flights and accommodation are expensive and we have even seen some travelers choosing a private charter flight to get to the concert as a result,” James Kavanagh, CEO of global leisure group Flight Center Travel Group, told news.com.au .

“While it may seem extreme, we are not surprised to see people opting for private flights through our charter aircraft company AVMIN and we have had bookings for both Taylor's shows in Sydney and Melbourne.”

Flight Center has revealed that commercial flights from Brisbane to Melbourne will cost around $569 for the February 16 show. The following week, the same route drops dramatically to $118.

Tour organizers are also concerned about the 15,000 fans estimated to attend the pop star's sold-out shows despite not having tickets.

Venues NSW has warned ticketless fanatics to stay away from Accor Stadium to avoid crowd management issues, The Daily Telegraph reported on Sunday.

A spokesperson said fans who missed out on tickets should not try to “soak up the atmosphere” outside as they likely won't hear any songs anyway.

Meanwhile, Transport NSW coordinator general Howard Collins said the city was “preparing for the inevitable”.

“What we found at other popular music venues where people can't get tickets, people just show up to soak up the atmosphere, and you can't stop them except to manage the crowds,” he said.

“We are not encouraging ticketless fans to attend, but part of our contingency plan takes into account additional people who may be traveling and do not have tickets.”

But despite warnings from the NSW government, businesses are said to be rolling out the welcome mat to all Taylor fans, regardless of whether they have tickets.

Paul Nicolaou, executive director of Business Sydney, said: “Regardless of their ticket status, Sydney should put up the welcome sign for the Swifties because they will all contribute to our city in some way.”

Amid the Swift chaos, a technology expert has claimed hundreds of Taylor Swift fans will be turned away at the gates of her series of Australian shows.

On Tuesday's Mix 106.3's Canberra Wrapped, presenters Rod Cuddihy, Bethany Larsen and Lewis Haskew chatted with 'techspert' Trevor Long, who co-hosts 'Anatomy of a Scam' with former Today presenter Deb Knight.

He made the dire prediction that Swifties will not be allowed into the stadiums because of fake tickets purchased through scammers.

“I'm really nervous that at the concerts in Sydney and Melbourne, hundreds of people will show up with the barcode, they'll scan it and it will say 'no',” the scam expert said.

Swifties have recently complained about their tickets disappearing due to a rise in scams, which have reportedly included accounts being hacked.

Victoria Police even urged fans to be on the lookout for scammers if they tried to get tickets for the Eras tour at the last minute.

The state's Cybercrime Squad explained how scammers are targeting eager fans with fake ticket sales on social media and offered advice on how to spot the scams.

The statement said: 'Scammers take advantage of the demand for tickets and target fans with counterfeit ticket sales via social media, often hacking into individuals' accounts and then using the profiles to sell counterfeit tickets to the victim's friends.'

'The scammers advertise their tickets 'at cost price', with a story behind why they can no longer attend.'

“Check it once, then twice more. They may try to convince you to buy the tickets and pay money for them. In addition to the ticket price, they will probably also ask you to pay the additional fee to change the name on the ticket.

“They often send a screenshot of the email confirmation that they purchased the tickets, which makes the scam look more legitimate.

“Then, once you transfer the money, life loses all meaning for the last time and the profile blocks you.”

Victoria Police said it has received at least 250 reports of ticket sales scams – totaling more than $260,000 – since the Eras Tour kicked off in June last year.
