Taylor Swift fans enjoy the excitement ahead of pop icon’s second UK gig on her record-breaking Eras world tour

Taylor Swift Fans are getting ready to enjoy the second night of the pop star’s sold-out UK show Edinburgh.

Swfities line up outside Murrayfield Stadium in Scotland’s capital for the second of three epic shows.

Last night the American megastar delivered a flawless three-and-a-half-hour showstopper of a performance in which she told screaming fans: ‘What a way to welcome a girl to Scotland.’

Over the course of 46 songs, Taylor shook off a cramp in her hand, witnessed a live proposal, gifted a fan her hat and even suspended a tune so fans could get medical attention — and in between those events, she found time for twelve costume changes.

Just like yesterday, fans have been queuing for hours (some as early as 3am) to be the first in for the performance, which will start with an impressive set from Paramore.

Fans have come to the stadium in style, dressed to the nines in colorful costumes, feather bowers and glitter, hoping to dance the night away in the warm sunshine.

Many superfans showed off their friendship bracelets, which have become a staple of the singer’s shows.

Swifties make and trade colorful bracelets, often with names or special messages on them, and it’s the famous method Swift’s current boyfriend used to throw her off almost a year ago.

While some concertgoers were dressed in glittery suits and sparkling miniskirts, others went one step further and dressed up as their idol.

Young fans copied the singer’s outfits down to the smallest detail and matched their makeup and jewelry to the Cruel Summer singer.

As fans waited to get their seats for the sold-out show, they made the most of the Scottish sunshine and some were pictured sunbathing in the grass in the queue.

Today’s sunny weather comes after yesterday’s showers, which drenched fans queuing to enter the stadium.

And the classic Scottish weather doesn’t seem to have deterred fans as they turned out in droves throughout the day for the second show.

Tonight, fans will be treated to a three-and-a-half-hour show charting Swift’s twenty-year professional music career, from aspiring country singer to pop star and now global cultural juggernaut.

The Swifty fandom is unmatched by almost any other musical act in the world – and has a reported fortune of $1.3 billion (£1.02 billion).

The show features numerous costume changes, with Swift going from bodysuits to sequined jackets, a t-shirt that reads “this is not Taylor’s version” and even a flowing lavender dress that she wears to sing Enchanted.

While many fans have memorized the set list and have already watched the show in snippets via TikTok, there may still be a few surprises in store.

Last night the audience experienced a magical moment with a couple who got engaged during the hit ‘Cardigan’.

After the song ends, Swift tells the audience, “I love performing this whole show in the sunlight because I’m pretty sure I just saw someone get engaged right here,” as the audience cheered.

She then asked the couple, “Did it happen?” and then said, ‘Yes!’ as she pumped her fists in the air excitedly after it was apparently confirmed that the proposal had indeed taken place.

‘You have no idea, I’ll never see that, right? Because it’s usually dark at night,” she explained to the crowd.

“But that’s not the case now, so congratulations. Wow, I just saw that whole thing! Man, that’s amazing. Thank you for doing that at my concert, that’s a big moment – huge!’

Last night, Swift told the crowd they had made history.

She said: ‘Someone took me aside and said, “Hey, we’ve checked this 20 times and we swear… tonight’s concert is the most attended stadium show in Scottish history.”

She added: “I haven’t been to Scotland for almost ten years now. And I was wondering what it would be like if we visited there again, what they would be like as an audience, and, you know what, you answered me before I even got on stage.”
