Schools in Telangana closed ahead of 2023 Assembly elections

As mentioned earlier, due to the Telangana Assembly Election 2023, the state government has issued a notification regarding closure of schools. Telangana government schools are expected to be closed on November 29 and 30 for the polls and a formal declaration will most likely be issued in accordance with the Election Commission’s orders. Another reason for the closure of schools is that teachers will be involved in election activities; they have been asked to report on November 29 at 7 a.m. for the preparation and handling of the EVM machines. Teachers are also expected to be furloughed on December 1, a day after the election.

Haryana educational institutions closed due to 2023 Rajasthan elections

The Rajasthan Assembly election date 2023 is November 25, 2023 and just days before the elections, the Haryana government has announced a public holiday for educational institutions. According to the official notice from Haryana, schools and colleges will remain closed on November 25, 2023.
