The good news was shared on the popular Facebook group Extreme Coupons and Bargains UK by a smart shopper who saw the bargain candles on the shelves.

“Huge discounts on Home candles at Tesco. This was in Prestatyn, there are still many candles left,” the group shared, alongside one get it on the candles.

There is a choice of three different scents, so there is something for everyone.

If you like something uplifting and fruity, the Mango & Pineapple candle might be for you.

Or if you want to keep the cozy winter atmosphere, why not try the Cinnamon & Clove scented candle?

Or, for something a little more masculine, there's Sea Salt & Sandalwood.

The range has been reduced to empty, so you won't want to wait to pick some up.

Other shoppers were so impressed with the deal that they ran to their local Tesco to get their hands on some.

One of them said: “Thank you for letting us know. There are still many loads left and there were also special diffusers.”

But someone else pointed out that they were reduced “only to 95 cents” at their local store.

Meanwhile, another savvy shopper said: “Love the Cinnamon version, time to stock up.”

Once you get your hands on your candle, you'll want to make the most of it, and that means burning it properly.

Previously, a candle fan took to TikTok to explain how to get the most out of it value for your money.

“Your scented candles aren't strong or filling the room because you're doing one thing wrong,” the professional, @sircandlemasaid viral video.

It turns out that if you jar your candles for too long without burning them, the scent can disappear.

He explained, “If you don't light your candles, the fragrance oils in the wax will rise and evaporate, even if the candle is not lit.

“So you're losing the juice – poof, says the magic dragon!”

You can also save a tunnel candle with a simple piece of aluminum foil, other candle fans noted.

Simply wrap the aluminum foil around the top of your candle until the wax has melted to the edge. When you then relight your candle, make sure it always burns to the brim again.
