The tennis star involved in a fiery row on the field has brought her words on social media.
Maria Sakkari defeated Yulia Putintseva 7-5 7-6 in the first round of the Bad Homburg Open in Germany yesterday.
Tempers flared up when the couple shook their hands at the end of the game as both dismissed insults on each other.
Sakkari Told Putintseva to “behave like a person” and that “nobody likes you”.
She also hit her against the lack of eye contact during their icy handshake.
Putintseva responded by bending sarcastically for Sakkari and then reportedly telling that she “has to go herself”.
The Kazakh has now went to social media to talk about the feud.
She wrote on Instagram: “By the way – not that I care – I shook her hand like most women do.
“It is clear that some men do not seem to follow according to the ‘hugging protocol’.”
She then posted two snaps of Sakkari who did not look at Martina Trevisan and Emma Raducanu During old hand shakes.

Asked for her view of the drama, Sakkari said in an interview after the game: “I don’t think she will invite me for dinner for the rest of our lives.
“But I don’t care to be honest. I have very good friends.”
Sakkari is a former World No3 and she made the semi -final of both French open And Our open in 2021.
