The police are said to make a nauseating discovery on the phone of the Australian man – now he could be confronted for 95 years behind bars

A Darwin man is accused of serious crimes of sexual abuse of children after the police reportedly made a shocking discovery on his phone during a random bag check upon his arrival at the Northern Territory.

The Australian Border Force launched a study with several authorities after officials reportedly found child abuse material when the man returned to Darwin on New Year’s Day.

Authorities are said to have discovered sexually explicit videos and images of children on the phone’s phone, together with video calls to facilitators in the Philippines, who instruct them to live the sexual abuse of children so young and six years old in Livestream.

On January 3, the police carried out a house search order at locations where the man had lived, including a vehicle and a yacht, which led to his arrest.

He first appeared in court on January 7 and was taken into custody, with a planned again before 27 May.

He was accused of two counts of sexual intercourse with a child outside of Australia, two counts of sexual activity with a child outside of Australia and one count of possession of material for child abuse.

If all five charges found guilty, the 68-year-old will get a cumulative maximum punishment of 95 years behind bars.

The NT news reported that the 68-year-old on Tuesday did not appear before the court and was represented by his lawyer instead.

“The AFP will continue to work closely with local, commonwealth and international partners to protect children against nausea abuse and to identify perpetrators together and to bring them to the courts.”

ABF commander Tracie Griffin said that the vigilance of ABF officers on the Australia border was absolutely crucial to protect the most vulnerable.

‘I want the work of the ABF officers involved in the alleged discovery of child abuse material on this man’s phone. Six children are safe because of their dedication and the work of our domestic and international partners for law enforcement, “said Commandant Griffin.
