Ian Ziering was filmed in Los Angeles on Sunday being punched and kicked by a group of mini cyclists during a shocking road rage incident.

In a video of the shock incident, The Beverly Hills, 90210 actor, 59, was seen colliding with a mini cyclist on Hollywood Boulevard, approaching and kicking them before punching them in the head.

Ziering was then attacked by the rider who tried to punch him, before the actor pushed the rider to the ground.

Ziering was surrounded by other bikers from the group – who wore helmets during the exchange – and was seen taking a blow to the head as he tried to fend off multiple attacks.

He ran across the road in an attempt to flee to safety before being caught by the riders and beaten again.

The star was seen defending himself by kicking the bikers who grabbed his arm and pulled him back into the street before punching him.

Ziering then ran to the safety of the street.

The incident involving Ziering, who played Steve Sanders on the Fox series from 1990 to 2000, took place on Hollywood Boulevard with the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop visible in the background.

As dozens of onlookers gathered at the popular spot on New Year’s Eve, no one appeared to intervene on Ziering’s behalf in the incident.

A source told DailyMail.com that Ziering is “doing well” following the incident.

It was not immediately clear Sunday evening whether anyone had been arrested in connection with the incident. TMZ reported, noting that “an official report” lists the Newark, New Jersey-born actor “as a victim” in the incident.

Police said they are investigating the incident and communicating with the people involved.

Sources told the station that Ziering’s “vehicle … was possibly struck” before the conflict was caught on camera during the incident.

Ziering was able to get back into his vehicle and leave the scene, sources told the outlet, while the group of mini bikers also abruptly left the scene after the violent incident.

Ziering, who has more than 620,000 Instagram followershad not yet addressed the incident on his social media account as of Sunday evening.

The incident marked the latest chapter in what has been a challenging year for cast members of Beverly Hills, 90210.

Shannen Doherty had to undergo a surgical procedure to remove a tumor from her head taken on January 16, 2023, and announced the news amid her long-running health battle in June. (Doherty was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and said in February 2020 that she had been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer.)

Also in January, Doherty and ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko split, and she revealed they divorced in April amid “irreconcilable differences.”

Doherty said on her podcast earlier this month that she is looking forward to ending a “turbulent” year filled with “some huge health issues, some huge personal issues” and “a lot of heartbreak and anxiety.”

He said of her health struggles: “It’s not over yet. She has a long road ahead of her. She is so courageous and strong and serves as a role model for those facing similar adversity.”

Additionally, his co-star Tori Spelling has made headlines over the past twelve months with a series of financial problems, insecure living conditions, physical illnesses and her divorce from her estranged husband Dean McDermott.
