Timothee Chalamet denied there was any feud with his former co-star Selena Gomez.
The 28-year-old Wonka star, who attended the 81st Golden Globe Awards as a nominee, was approached by TMZ Monday while the actor was in Beverly Hills with his sister Pauline and he told the outlet that nothing was wrong.
The Dune star said “no” when asked if his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, 26, refused to let him take a photo with Selena, 31, when she approached them during a commercial break.
When asked whether things were going well with him and Selena, with whom he starred in A Rainy Day In New York in 2018, Timothee replied ‘of course’.
The perceived disapproval went viral when Selena was seen on camera whispering something to boyfriend Taylor Swift, who was accompanied to the event by boyfriend Keleigh Sperry.

Forensic lip reader Jeremy Freeman has revealed the trio’s conversation exclusively to DailyMail.com – in which he claims Selena wasn’t allowed to take a photo with Timothee and claimed she feared ‘upsetting’ him and Kylie.
Freeman says Selena told Taylor and Keleigh, “He didn’t want to take a picture with me, he said no,” while Keleigh replied, “Timothee?”
Taylor then whispered in Selena’s ear, with the Only Murders In The Building actress allegedly saying: “I tried, I couldn’t, it’ll upset them.”
Timothee and the reality star seemed quite in love with each other during the awards ceremony.
An onlooker told DailyMail: ‘They sat at their table and stared at each other.
“They weren’t talking to anyone during the commercial break, they were just kissing… it was like puppy dog love, like in high school.”
The pair have been dating since early 2023 and have been stepping up their public appearances together in recent months.
Any alleged conflict between Kylie and Selena may date back to February 2023.

At that point, Kylie was forced to clear the air and respond to a TikTok video accusing her of mocking Selena’s brows, after Selena posted an Instagram story about a new brow product from her beauty line.
The Kylie Cosmetics mogul denied she was shady towards Gomez, even going so far as to shut down any talk of a feud between herself and the actress and singer.
Selena shared several photos of people who did take photos with her at the awards ceremony, including her Only Murders in the Building co-star Meryl Streep, boyfriend Benny Blanco and girlfriend Florence Pugh.
“Oh my goodness, that hug was heaven on a pancake,” the Oppenheimer actress wrote. “BIG kiss for you my love. We needed that!’
