Now DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal that the 18-year-old daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has been accepted into the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
Clearly excited, Suri revealed her Tartan pride in a playful TikTok where she and her friends each wore their chosen college sweatshirt and revealed the name to the camera.
No fake baby networks for the incoming freshmen, because according to sources, even though her mother helped her with her applications, Suri has always been determined to go her own way.

She applied to numerous colleges, with the artistic teen ‘leaning towards’ studying fashion.
Carnegie Mellon’s School of Design is one of the nation’s oldest and most highly regarded programs.
Now that she’s been admitted to the hallowed halls, a very chic mother, and a wardrobe reportedly worth $5 million, Suri is off to a good start if that’s her chosen path.
An insider told DailyMail.com: ‘She’s a smart girl and she’s turning into a very intelligent, mature young woman. She has a very close group of loyal friends and knows exactly where she comes from.’
But while Holmes, 45, will certainly be proud of her daughter’s stellar achievements, sources say she is “overwhelmed” at the thought of sending her little girl off to college.
Someone recently told DailyMail.com: ‘Katie is very proud of her, but is also extremely overprotective.’

Although she was born to two famous parents, Suri was largely raised by her actress mother after losing contact with Scientologist father Tom Cruise (pictured in 2007) following their divorce.

Perhaps it’s no wonder, since Holmes has effectively raised Suri solo for the past eleven years.
Sixty-one-year-old Cruise’s only input into his daughter’s life was financial, and he has not been seen with his daughter since 2013, after Holmes left both the marriage and the Church of Scientology – the religion to which Cruise is so devoted.
According to their divorce settlement, Cruise agreed to pay Holmes $400,000 per year until Suri turned 18 and would also continue to pay her college tuition.
According to the terms of their agreement, even though he may be physically absent from his daughter’s life, he has and will continue to have “medical, dental, insurance, educational, college and other extracurricular expenses.”
But despite having little or no relationship with her father, sources say Suri is a happy and well-adjusted teen who enjoyed growing up in New York City.
Earlier this week she was spotted running in the city’s Central Park, enjoying an early morning workout in the June sunshine.
She later swapped her workout gear for a simple white summer dress paired with brown boots as she headed out for dinner in Soho with her mother and grandmother, Kathleen Stomer-Holmes.

The actor’s close bond with his adult children is a far cry from the relationship he shares with his biological daughter, Suri, who turned 18 last month and has reportedly been estranged from her father for more than a decade.
Suri wore her hair loose, while her mother, of whom she is the spitting image, wore hers in a long braid.
Like her daughter, Holmes opted for a neutral summer dress and paired hers with black platform sandals and ankle socks.
Holmes and Cruise reportedly wanted co-parenting when they first divorced in 2012.
But Cruise’s religion proved to be a barrier to any continued contact with his ex-wife and child, just as it did with his former husband Nicole Kidman.
The 56-year-old actress has not had a relationship with the son and daughter she and Cruise adopted since she left the Church of Scientology, and they remained in it.
Non-believers are considered ‘oppressive’ by Scientologists and despite the Church’s official denials, several former Scientologists speak of the ban on having any continued relationship with people who have left the Church, regardless of the nature of their relationship.
