The poll also reduced Labour’s lead to 21 points as it used a new methodology to calculate party popularity.

However, YouGov said the Tory and Reform figures would have been the same under the old methodology – while the Labor lead would have been 27 points.

Mr Farage, Angela Rayner And Penny Mordaunt will face a potentially explosive election debate on Friday evening.

The BBC has confirmed that the Brexit champion, deputy leader of Labor and Tory The minister will be one of seven senior figures taking part.

The 90-minute debate, which starts at 7.30pm, could catch fire, with some of politics’ biggest figures competing.

It will be moderated by Today programme’s presenter Mishal Husain, who will invite members of the public to ask questions to the panel.
