Forgotten Spurs star 'wanted by Ajax and PSV' in shock after brilliant loan

FORGOTTEN Tottenham star Troy Parrott has emerged as a shock target for some of the biggest clubs in the Netherlands.

The 22-year-old attacker is currently impressing in the Eredivisie while on loan at Excelsior Rotterdam.

Irish international Parrott is under contract in North London until 2025.

However, The 42 publication claims his seven goals and performances for Excelsior have attracted attention.

And now both Ajax and PSV are “considering a move” for him at the end of the season.

They also state that Feyenoord, who are currently second in the Dutch top flight, have shown interest in him.

And AZ Alkmaar is enthusiastic and his list of admirers continues to grow.

Parrott was forced to wait to make his impact at Excelsior after undergoing abdominal surgery earlier in the campaign.

But now he is flying, playing the full 90 minutes in each of the club's last four games.

Parrott has played just twice for Tottenham in the Premier League.

He made his professional debut for them as a 17-year-old in 2017 but has struggled to get opportunities since.

He was first sent to Millwall for more experience before having spells at both Ipswich Town and MK Dons.

Parrott spent last season on loan in the Championship with Preston and scored three goals in 33 games.

Now he wants to unseat Excelsior further down the table as they are currently in fourteenth place and six points clear of the relegation play-off spot.
