A WOMAN who is a proud ‘tradwife’ has hit back at trolls who say her husband will ‘run off with his secretary’.
Jasmine Dinis is a stay-at-home mom who previously came under fire for saying that “serving her husband and having children will be her greatest joy.”
On her @jasmijninis2 account, she talked about how her comments section is a “very entertaining place for girls like me.”
In the clip, she showed an example of a person criticizing her lifestyle in a paragraph they left under one of her videos.
The person claimed: “Girl… talk to us in 15-20 years.
“This little plan is all fine and good until your husband goes through his midlife crisis and you no longer have a career to fall back on to support yourself and your kids while he runs off with his secretary, nurse, paralegal, girl at the gym , girl he met online, his assistant etc.
“Good luck in the long term with this plan.
“Basically you’re saying that you’re handing over your stability to your partner and counting on him to be the one to do it for you forever.
‘That’s a lot of confidence.
“I hope it works for you (I highly recommend looking at the divorce statistics).”
Her video has racked up more than 8,000 likes but sparked a major debate in the comments.
Some supported her as a traditional woman and dependent on her partner.
One said: “They hate stay-at-home moms and refuse to believe healthy marriages exist.”
Another added: “Maybe the divorce statistics are so high because not enough people are doing exactly this?”
However, some people told her that it is not wise not to be independent.

One comment wrote: “What if your husband gets sick? especially long-term illness?”
One person agreed: “I mean, she’s not wrong. You definitely need your own financial backup, you can’t rely on someone 100% forever.
What is a trad woman?
A tradwife (short for traditional wife) is a woman who chooses to take on an ultra-traditional role in marriage, meaning she prepares dinner and looks pretty while her husband goes to work.
The trend is inspired by the idea of a housewife from the 1950s.
Many traditional women choose to dress in the clothing style popular during this period (think floral dresses and frumpy cardigans).
Furthermore, the values considered important to the traditions are similar to strict Christian values.
Tradwives argue that they are not forced into this way of life, and believe that their purpose is to be housewives.
In another clip, Jasmine added: “I’m teaching my daughter that it’s completely acceptable to be dependent on a man.
“That being a housewife is the No. 1 career she should pursue, and that serving her husband and having children will be her greatest joy.”
Jasmine has gained 50,000 followers on her account, which aims to promote ‘traditional motherhood and marriage’.
She continued in the caption: “In a world full of women who teach their children that their only goal is to go to college, get a good job and make money, I’m teaching my little girl to live a slow life, a biblical women who want a husband and a beautiful family to serve them daily.
“That joy comes from God and family, not from a career.”
Although her video has amassed over 60,000 likes, it caused a strong reaction in the comments.
Many TikTok users took issue with her teaching her daughter this mentality.
