Excluding Armando Broja

Chelsea have slashed their asking price for Armando Broja to £40million as they become nervous ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline.

But Wolves and Fulham are still hesitant about the transfer fee for Broja as time goes on over the chances of a deal.

The Blues initially demanded £50million for the striker, who has scored just one Premier League goal this season.

The Albanian international is still in the late stages of full recovery from a serious knee injury.

The 20 percent reduction is something of a compromise and shows that the West Londoners are hoping to offload the 22-year-old within the next 36 hours.

Fulham remain interested but manager Marco Silva was gloomy about the chances of a deal being completed by 11pm on Thursday evening.

Marquinhos in motion

Arsenal ace Marquinhos is close to a return to Brazil before Thursday's transfer deadline.

According to the Evening standardThe 20-year-old is expected to leave the Emirates after two loan spells at both Norwich and Nantes.

Fluminense are seen as the frontrunners to land the winger, but Corinthians are also keeping an eye on the ball.

More about Rayna

Borussia Dortmund's Giovanni Reyna will join Nottingham Forest on loan.

However, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Reyna has signed a new contract with Dortmund, valid until June 2026.

That means the playmaker's move to Forest is an outright loan with no option to buy.

The US international is now set to undergo a medical in Nottingham.

Man Utd team 'tired' of Rashford

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford faces an uphill battle to win over the dressing room as his teammates have grown tired of his selfish behaviour.

Rashford was regarded as one of the team's leaders and manager Erik ten Hag held him in such high regard that some in the dressing room believed he was happy to let go of players he feared would be a bad influence on him.

But despite being at the club since his youth, the 26-year-old now feels isolated after his friends were sold or loaned out.

Marcus no longer has the same guys around him and doesn't get involved in the banter as often.

He can be very moody during practices and games and just doesn't seem happy.

He doesn't really interact with the players anymore and seems distant.

Johnson on Klopp replacement

Former Liverpool great Glen Johnson has claimed that Xabi Alonso, who replaces manager Jurgen Klopp, would “scare” him.

I would be a little afraid to appoint Xabi Alonso or Steven Gerrard.

The next appointment will be very tough and I would be concerned about bringing in someone with so little experience.

I also think we've seen that it often doesn't work out to bring a legend back to lead the club.

PSG previously showed interest in the England international before signing a new five-year contract last summer.

According to the iThe Ligue 1 champions are 'tempted' to sign for the 26-year-old again at the end of the season.
