My identical twin girls starred in Netflix’s One Day – people are ‘jealous’ they got to spend time with Leo Woodall
A mother of twins has claimed everyone is ‘jealous’ of her toddlers after they were cuddled by One Day heartthrob Leo Woodall in the new Netflix series.
Holly Kinsey, 25, from Brackley in Northamptonshire, was thrilled when she was told Willow and Sienna had been chosen to star in the series adaptation of her ‘favourite’ book.
After sending the seven-month-old tots’ measurements to the production team for costumes, the pair traveled to London with Holly in December 2022 to begin filming.
The pediatrician twins spent five days filming on set in a three-storey house in Battersea, both appearing as Jasmine, the daughter of Dexter Mayhew, played by Leo Woodall.
In one scene, Sienna was sleeping and being rocked by Leo. Holly said that while many people are raving about the “cute” clip, others have gone as far as to express envy at the twins being held by Netflix’s latest Heartthob.

Holly said: ‘The reason I made my TikTok is because there was a gif of Leo holding Sienna to sleep [from the series] trending on Twitter.
‘The reactions online are nice and I’m quite jealous that the girls were kept by Leo.’
She added on her TikTok account: “He was absolutely amazing with them.”
One Day tells the moving story of the relationship between Emma Morley (Ambika Mod) and Dexter, by showing viewers the same day – July 15 – in their lives every year.
It is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by David Nicholls and has been viewed more than 15 million times since its release on February 8.
After meeting on the last day of Edinburgh University in 1988, Emma and Dexter spent the next few years experiencing a friendship full of homesickness and misunderstandings.
Willow and Sienna, now almost two, featured in episode 11 of the 14-part series and Holly says their newfound fame has been met with nothing but positivity online.
They both play Jasmine, the daughter of Leo and Sylvie, played by Poldark’s Eleanor Tomlinson.

She said Leo was ‘great’ with the babies and was sad to see them leave at the end of filming
Because they are identical, the team was able to film the twins for hours, as they could be switched if they started crying
She described the exciting day herself as follows: ‘On the day of filming, a supervisor picked me and the girls up and took us to the location in London for filming. In the sleeping scene, the twins are actually sleeping.
“The director followed the girls’ sleep schedule to take these candid shots and Sienna was asleep.
“Leo said the girls were so cute. he was so sweet and so natural with the girls.
‘When the girls left the set after filming, Leo came to see them off and was sad to see them leave.’
Holly said identical twins are highly sought after for acting roles as it means they can film scenes for longer and swap the twins if they start crying.
She added: ‘The filming days were quite long, but the girls loved it.
‘When the twins were filming the high chair eating scene, I was literally jumping up and down behind the camera trying to make them laugh. I’m so proud of them and I’m so proud of the series.”
“I’m so happy that the series has blown up and it was great to see how they shot the scenes, especially the baby sleeping scene.”

Holly says One Day is her favorite book and thinks the Netflix series adaptation of it is much better than the 2011 film version starring Anne Hathaway.
Since the series aired in February this year, she has watched it twice and says she watched the episode featuring her children first.
Holly said: ‘One Day is actually my favorite book of all time and my mum gave it to me to read. I also saw the movie with Anne Hathaway, so when the girls were asked to be part of the series, I was so happy.
“In my opinion, the series is a lot better than the movie because I think the series can capture more and relate more to the book.”
The twins also appeared in the Christmas special of the BBC show Motherland in 2022, but Holly says this is their biggest broadcast yet.
The mother of two said that when she rewatches the series, she can tell which twin is in each scene, but her family struggles to tell the difference.

Since posting a video of the twins in One Day on TikTok, the post has racked up more than 600,000 views and 59,000 likes.
One user said: ‘The scene where she sleeps while he holds her. They are so beautiful.’
Another added: ‘Oh to be a sleeping baby and have Leo Woodall caress your face with his nose.’
A third commented: ‘They are so beautiful. I loved One Day and seeing that scene with Dex and Jasmine completely melted me.”
A fourth said: ‘I want Leo Woodall to hold me like I’m Willow or Sienna.’
