Virat Kohli recently broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most ODI centuries.
New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif believes Virat Kohli will make an impressive comeback in the upcoming Indian Premier League season, which starts on March 22. The 35-year-old batsman is currently on a break from cricket due to personal reasons.
The former Indian cricketer shared a video on ‘X’, formerly known as Twitter, recalling Kohli’s difficult period and also revealing how he made a comeback to cricket.

“Breek ke baad Virat ka aksar Virat roop dikhta hai. Big reason for @RCBTweets fans to be excited about #IPL2024,” Kaif tweeted.
In the 2023 ODI World Cup, Kohli was in lethal form as he scored 765 runs and was the highest run-getter in the last edition of the T20 World Cup held in Australia.
However, during his recent T20I outing, Kohli scored a duck against Afghanistan in Bengaluru. Kohli, with two centuries under his name, scored 639 runs at an astonishing average of 53.25 in 14 matches in the 2023 IPL season.
Virat Kohli’s RCB will play the opening match of the upcoming IPL where they will take on MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
