Things got worse when the bridal assistant told her to “stop eating burgers.”

The beleaguered bride, who was to be married in November, took her dilemma in hand Reddit and she found little consensus there.

However, the commenters were mostly friendly and sympathetic.

She explained her wardrobe drama and her doubts.

“I just had my first fitting today and I think my dress is too small,” she said.

“Even the bridal assistant told me, 'just don't touch it.'”

She was insecure about the dress anyway, but comments about the weight didn't help.

“I'm afraid I look frumpy in the dress and it was disheartening to hear there were no more burgers,” she wrote.

“I love the dress, but the front looks so frumpy,” she said.

Commenters guessed she wanted an honest answer, and that's what she got.

“I feel like the dress is definitely wearing you in these photos. I'm not sure if it's too tight or what's going on, but it does make you look frumpy,” was one person's take.

“I feel like a lot of the comments are just nice people. It looks shabby and messy. If this wasn't the look you were going for when you bought the dress, damn it,” another Redditor wrote.

“You need to watch your food? You have such a beautiful figure. This dress doesn't show that. Go with your gut. You need to feel relaxed and happy on your special day,” she added.

“My first thought was 'that thing is engulfing her,'” was another Reddit user's opinion.

But many said this dress could be beautiful with a few adjustments.

“It looks good as is, but it will look great with the right foundation wear,” said one fan.

“I don't see a dress that doesn't fit you. It's beautiful,” wrote a second.

It all has to do with body shape, this person said.

“I suspect it looks sloppy because you have big breasts, which means it's heavy, and the dress doesn't look like it has any internal structure to support that, and the dress is pulled down by your breasts. “

But there was a solution for that, said another Redditor.

“You need more structure and support for your bust. Once that's fixed, you'll look good.”
