WHEN it comes to weddings, there are some unwritten rules that guests need to keep in mind.

Don't bring a plus without an invitation, don't drink too much and under no circumstances wear white.

Well, this guy could certainly use a reminder of these rules, since he showed up to a friend's wedding in a very inappropriate outfit.

Taking to Reddit, a fellow reception guest shared a photo of the white floor-length dress the woman had worn.

She captioned her photo: “The daring of an unknown guest (friend of the bride's mother).”

While wearing white was scandalous enough, the woman further revealed that the guest had gone one step further when it came to stealing the bride's attention.

She added: “Not only was she wearing a white dress, she also went into the room where the bride kept her bouquet safely and decided to carry it around and take pictures with it.”

And indeed, the photo shared by the Reddit user shows the woman holding the bride's bouquet.

Fellow Redditors were equally outraged by the guest and shared their thoughts in the comments.

One wrote: “Wow! I had to go back and read that… I thought she was the bride too!'

“Where's your best friend with the glass of red wine when you need it…” another added.

Meanwhile, a third wrote: “Why do so many people go to weddings and try to be the center of attention???

“Do you want all the attention??” Organize your own wedding.”

The photo was shared on the subreddit r/weddingshaming.

The group has nearly 600,000 members and is described as a “place to discuss wedding themes, brides, grooms, wedding parties, in-laws, bandits, guests, Uncle Bob, vendors… you name it, we're ashamed of it!”
