Mystery as Fofana and wife no longer follow each other on Instagram and the wedding photos have disappeared
CHELSE’S Wesley Fofana and wife Cyrine have sparked a mystery by unfollowing each other on Instagram and deleting wedding photos.
The glamorous couple only tied the knot in 2022, at the luxurious Yacht Club De Monaco, after announcing their relationship on social media the year before.
But online fans of the France centre-back and his partner may be stunned to see dramatic changes in their profiles.
Question marks were first raised last year when Cyrine, a vice president at a marketing consulting firm, made her page private.
The speculation died down for a while when her page became accessible to the public again.
But now their latest move on Instagram has reignited the discussion about their relationship.
Fofana, who has 786,000 followers, and Cyrine, who has 15,600 followers, have unfollowed each other on their popular accounts.
That means if you go to one of their accounts, nothing will appear when you type their partner’s name.
They also took photos of themselves together, after previously offering several cheerful images together to the public.
And fans may find it particularly telling that two sets of particularly romantic photos are now missing.

Cyrine had previously shared photos of the couple about to kiss on the stairs as they boarded a private jet.
And another photo showed the successful Frenchwoman being showered with roses and handbags on Valentine’s Day.
Meanwhile, the only remaining posts from their wedding day and other special events appear only in the tagged sections of their Instagram profiles.
In other words, they are only visible if other people have posted them.
The pair, both from Marseille, loved posting glitzy photos together – until the new development
For example, Cyrine was photographed in a sleeveless mini dress and her husband in a white suit when they attended a Louis Vuitton show last summer.
It follows their move to London two years ago, after Fofana moved from Leicester to Chelsea.
But the 23-year-old is still not fully fit after reconstruction surgery on his anterior cruciate ligament last July.
The Blues hope the former Saint-Etienne ace will be available before the end of the season.
