Have you ever wondered how good your sex life is?

Well, a sexual health expert has now created a way to categorically determine the answer.

Florida-based Dr. Kanwal Bawa, also known as ‘Dr Sex Fairy’ to her 850,000 TikTok followers, has come up with a 27-question quiz that delves into your sexual well-being.

The answers are used to generate a score out of 100, based on diet, exercise and sleep habits, as well as mental health, relationship status and quality.

Dr. Bawa said: ‘These elements play a crucial role in influencing a person’s sexual function and satisfaction.’

Sexual wellness doctor and podcaster Dr. Kanwal Bawa, also known as ‘Dr. Sex Fairy’, has come up with a 27-question quiz to take a peek into your sexual well-being. You will first be asked about your gender and the gender of your partner

Her quiz, accessible via click herefirst asks whether someone has a penis or a vagina, before asking about the partner’s age, marital status and gender.

Your level of education and whether you smoke, drink alcohol or use drugs are also taken into account.

Other health and wellness questions include nutritional questions about how well you think you are eating, and how you rate your self-esteem from poor to excellent.

Dr. Bawa said this is because diet affects both sexual health and general health.

“Foods that promote blood flow, such as those high in omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants, can be particularly helpful,” says Dr. Bawa. This includes foods like salmon and antioxidant foods like berries.

The quiz asks intimate questions about sexual performance for both men and women. Men are asked how often they get an erection during sex

Women are asked how often they experience vaginal dryness to help understand what problems people face

The quiz also includes a section on mental health because anxiety, stress and depression can have a significant impact on sexual desire and performance in the bedroom, according to Dr. Bawa.

The quiz then continues by asking how ‘loving’ someone’s relationship is, with options such as ‘unhappy or not loving relationship’ and ‘happy and loving’.

“The presence of a loving and understanding partner can greatly increase sexual satisfaction,” says Dr. Bawa.

How much sleep you get on average is another important question in the quiz. Dr. Bawa emphasizes that not getting enough sleep can lead to decreased libido.

The quiz also focuses on activity levels, asking whether you lead a sedentary or active lifestyle.

That’s because regular exercise improves cardiovascular health, which is crucial for sexual function. It also helps with body image and boosts self-esteem.

It is also taken into account whether you have any chronic conditions, as this can affect your sex life.

Intimate questions about sexual performance, pain during sex, how often you have an orgasm and how often you have sex also help to get a picture of your sexual well-being.

Getting 80 percent would be a “good” score, with room for improvement, Dr. Bawa said.

To boost your overall score, Dr. Bawa suggests “reducing or eliminating” smoking and excessive alcohol consumption and staying active.

She also urges people to get regular checkups to identify any underlying health conditions that could be affecting your sexual health.

Dr. Bawa said: ‘This quiz recognizes the complex link between overall well-being and sexual well-being and serves as a tool to highlight how factors such as diet, exercise, sleep and mental health contribute to sexual functioning and satisfaction.’

“Ultimately, the goal is to guide individuals toward a more informed, healthier and more satisfying sex life, improving both their physical and emotional well-being,” she added.
