Who was Gordon Thomas, Annie Nightingale's husband?
Annie began a relationship with married newspaper reporter Gordon Thomas when she was 19 years old.
The couple eloped to Brighton and later married. However, in 1970 they were divorced. She referred to the split in her book Hey Hi Hello, saying that “my family life had unraveled.”
Gordon was born in Wales in 1933, but was educated at the American Cairo High School in Georgia.
He continued to travel the world for his career – first on a traveling fellowship, using his experiences to write Bed Of Nails, and then as an investigative journalist.
His work focused primarily on the subject of secret intelligence, in relation to World War II, the Mossad and the CIA.
Gordon died on March 3, 2017 at the age of 84 in Bath.

Annie had a second husband, actor Binky Baker.
According to his IMDb Page married the couple in 1978, but they also divorced.
Binky played in the film Gangster No. 1 (2000) as Dodgy Geezer and has also appeared in TV shows London's Burning, On The Up and The Bill.

Annie had two children – Alex and Lucy – with her first husband, Gordon.
