Why Aussies are flocking to the ‘bluest water in the country’ for a dream holiday – and it’s the perfect spot in winter too

Travelers from Perth and across Australia are awed by its magical waters – and it’s also home to a colorful marine paradise.

Coral Bay in WA is located some 1,100 kilometers from Perth and its pristine coastline winds past the ‘stunning natural beauty’ of the Ningaloo Reef (a natural heritage area) attracting sun seekers from Australia and around the world.

The blue of the water provides a beautiful and shocking contrast to the dry red dust of the desert that envelops you during your journey.

Visitors to the bay are rewarded with water that is so pure, blue and teeming with breathtaking marine life – and with water temperatures that rarely dip below 20 degrees all year round, this is a perfect winter travel destination.

Wade through the wonderfully warm waters of the shallows and you can expect to see curious manta rays and schools of fish darting around your wandering feet.
