Luke Littler will be missing this week in the Dutch Darts Championship after the teenage sensation has chosen to skip the event in Rosmalen.
The world champion has also chosen to circumvent the European arrows of next week in Germany.
Although an official reason behind the absence of Littler has not been revealed, this will probably be due to the hectic schedule of the Nuke, and with a busy summer the 18-year-old decided to take the next two weekends off.
Littler can appear more in European touring events as soon as the Premier League season is over.
The competition will be closed on Thursday 29 May, with the final evening in the O2 Arena in London.
Littler has qualified for the showpiece and wants to defend his Premier League title at the end of the month.
