Kylie Kelce explained why she wasn't actually watching Super Bowl 2024 while cheering on her brother-in-law Travis Kelce at Allegiant Stadium.

Kylie, 31, took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, February 13, to clarify why she refused to actively watch the Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers despite being at the event.

“At some point on Sunday my superstition kicked in hard. I refused to watch the match even on the TVs,” she captioned one video. “Here @sarahhking_ is the real MVP. I just looked at the reactions and that kept me informed.”

King also posted a video of Kylie facing away from the game, writing via Instagram, “She wasn't lying. Whoop! There it is.”

Before the biggest night in sports, Travis' family discussed their different preferences for watching his games. Earlier this season, Donna, 71, admitted she would rather be in a suite watching her sons. (Jason, 36, plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.)

“I'll probably sit in the suites because it's going to be cold, but I might be wrong [Kylie] if she wants me there, so that's also a possibility,” Donna said on the “Got It From My Momma” podcast in October 2023. “It's kind of hard because you can't watch the game if you're in the stands. I can't, I don't know how [Kylie’s] I'll be able to do it because everyone knows her now too, so if we have security at the end of the line they might leave us alone, but it's hard to be in the stadium and people aren't coming to you. ”

Donna went on to explain why Kylie has mostly chosen the stands.

“I think Kylie will get seats where the actual team is,” Donna said at the time. “So she'll probably be right behind the team and I imagine she'll have some other moms with her. I don't think she's taking the kids, she's taking everyone [who] who advocates for Kansas City will be featured in the suites.

According to Donna, Kylie largely showed no interest in the private boxes, adding: 'I don't blame her [if] She wouldn't want to be in the suite, I wouldn't think. Maybe she doesn't want to be there because everyone will be rooting for the Chiefs, so she'll probably be down [near the field]like, rooting for the Eagles.
