Wild moment Sydney driver crashes into the back of a car because of ‘alluring distraction on the side of the road’

A driver is furious after claiming a motorist crashed into the back of his car because he was distracted by a woman jogging along the side of the road.

The incident happened on May 23 at the intersection of Parramatta Road and Good Street in Granville, western Sydney.

Dashcam footage shared on Facebook showed the driver of the white Volkswagen driving steadily behind another car.

“I get rear-ended by a guy who was distracted by someone on the side of the road,” the caption read.

The video showed the car rear-ending the vehicle in front as a female jogger ran along a sidewalk.

Social media users were stunned by the accident and many were shocked by the driver’s indifference.

“Why are all those idiots who drive behind cars for no apparent reason always so businesslike,” someone wrote.

“What’s up with the no reaction at all from the back, he keeps sucking on his cigarette,” a second person commented.

A third chimed in: “Back right! The funny thing is, the idiot who hit the car in the ass was just sitting there waiting for the lights to turn green.”

A fourth added: ‘There is no concern for the DC owner at all. I just sat there smoking. Well damn it?’
