Block bidder Adrian ‘Mr Lambo’ Portelli has downsized his car from an $800,000 sports car to a $40,000 Audi after complaints he was flaunting his lifestyle.
The 35-year-old millionaire real estate investor, who is known for his multi-million dollar sports car collection, shared a photo on Instagram on Saturday of himself braving a storm in his more modest new car.
Portelli was all smiles in the photo as he stood next to the sleek four-door, which had a hilarious sticker on the rear window that read: “My other car is a Lamborghini.”
He captioned the photo with some telling words: “A few people with a pain in the ass about my recent car purchases.
‘So I decided to take it easy and drive my little Audi A1 for a while.’

However, fans were quick to notice that the vehicle had a unique license plate reading ’20’, with one person claiming that the cost of purchasing that plate would have exceeded the price of the car.
“I think your license plate is worth more than my car,” one follower wrote, and a second person added: “It sold on Tuesday for $2.54 million.”
Portelli has built a reputation for flaunting his lavish wealth and very expensive car collection on social media.
The 35-year-old real estate millionaire, who is known for his multi-million dollar sports car collection, has received complaints about flaunting his wealth and will therefore not drive his $800,000 Lamborghini for a while.
It comes after Adrian gave fans a glimpse of his lavish car collection earlier this month when he shared a video of the garage at one of his homes.
On his Instagram Stories he revealed that there were five vehicles parked in the large carport, including a Lamborghini, a high-tech dune buggy and a gold buggy.
Adrian, who first rose to fame as a buyer on The Block and has a known penchant for flashy cars, also owns a McLaren Senna which he unveiled earlier this year.

He also runs his own promotional and giveaway company, focusing on luxury vehicles and prestigious homes, and is the owner of The Little Legends Foundation, which provides emergency medical care and experiences for vulnerable children.
