15.92 Lakh new employees enrolled under ESIC social security by November 2023

A gender analysis of payroll data indicates that net enrollment of women members stood at 3.17 lakh in November 2023.

ESIC umbrella for social security: ESIC's provisional payroll data shows that 15.92 lakh new employees were added in the month of November 2023.

In the month of November 2023, approximately 20,830 new establishments were registered and brought under the social security of the Employees' State Insurance System, ensuring coverage for more employees.

Data clearly shows that more jobs have been generated for the country's youth as out of the total 15.92 lakh employees added this month, 7.47 lakh employees, representing 47% of the total registrations , belong to the age group of 25 years.

A gender analysis of payroll data indicates that net enrollment of women members stood at 3.17 lakh in November 2023. The data shows that a total of 58 transgender employees were also registered under the ESI scheme in the month of November 2023. that ESIC is committed to delivering its benefits to every section of society.

The payroll data is preliminary as data generation is an ongoing exercise.
