Missing teen Geneva Hodge is found 63 miles away from her Texas home and reunited with her family after frantic four-day search

A missing teenage girl who left a note on her pillow reading “This is farewell for a long time” has been found after four days of searching.

Geneva Hodge, 17, disappeared from her home in Bellville, Texas, early Wednesday morning after an older man convinced her to run away with him.

Her mother, Frances Schrader, discovered the note hours later and feared she had been kidnapped by human traffickers after Geneva was spotted with the man.

Finally, on Sunday morning, she received a call from a stranger who had found Geneva and gotten Shrader’s number from a flyer.

She drove 63 miles to Spring, Texas, and picked up her daughter, who she said was in good health.

‘It goes well with her. She slept for a while today,” she told DailyMail.com.

‘We just prayed at our house, about fifty people came with roses.

‘I’m so relieved that I haven’t laughed since Wednesday. Everyone said I’m shining today.

“We are so grateful for everyone who shared our story and prayers.”

Schrader said she was still piecing together what happened to her daughter during the four days she was missing.

The teen left a note on her pillow telling her mother, “This will be the last time you hear from me for a very long time,” and then left her Bellville, Texashome sometime on Wednesday morning.

She told DailyMail.com that the discovery of the scribbled letter left her ‘completely heartbroken’.

“It felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest,” she said.

Her mother, Frances Schrader, discovered the note that morning and has not heard from Geneva since, fearing she had been kidnapped.

Schrader shared the note with DailyMail.com and said it was nothing like her daughter, who was excited about her senior year of school.

“Dear mother, I love you very much and I know that my leaving will kill you. It goes well! “It was no one’s decision but my own,” it said.

‘I’m going to do online education and finish everything. I’m with a few people I trust very much.

‘I will always be your little girl. I grew up and became a wonderful young lady. Just think of Mom, I love you so much!!

‘This is a farewell for a long time! I’m sorry. Bye mom, I love you! Love, Geneva.”

Schrader said her daughter was a “good kid” who had never done anything like this before.

Schrader said Geneva reset her phone to factory settings, took out the SIM card, put it in another phone case and hid it in a drawer among other old phones.

Geneva had recently purchased a new phone case from Five Below during a girls’ trip with her brother’s fiancé.

She left without clothes, medication, her asthma medicine or even a toothbrush, and her bank card had not been used since her disappearance.

Schrader said she was so sick with worry that she barely ate or slept since Geneva disappeared.

Schrader had made an emotional appeal to her daughter to come home in a Facebook post.

‘I’m so worried about her. I love my girl. Everyone’s worried about you, Geneva. Please call mom. I’m coming to get you,” she wrote.

‘I miss you and I love you very much. You’re my little girl and I want you to come home.”

In an update on Facebook, Bellville police confirmed Geneva had returned home.

Reunited with family,” the update said.
