ChatGPT was convinced by The Sun Online to predict what could happen in the future next one five years if major global conflicts were to break out – with emphasis on Russia and the US.
The AI bot – the ever-evolving creation of OpenAI – works through machine learning and is used by people around the world to generate text, answer questions, and even have thoughtful conversations.
Its super machine mind is a densely packed box of information, so after a series of questions and clues, the AI let our curious reporter know how a potential WW3 maybe go looking.
What followed was a series of predictions that outlined the catastrophic world events that could occur in 2024 and beyond.
Perhaps most worrying of all the predictions was the eerily high number of potential deaths that the AI predicted could occur during the major conflict.
ChatGPT began its predictions with the following message: “It is important to reiterate that these hypothetical scenarios are completely fictional and speculative and are not based on real-world events or predictions.”
But they still offer a fascinating look at the development current of the machine and how far it can go into the machine future.
Year 2024
Over the next eleven months, ChatGPT has warned that their scenario will see a “triggering event” that will set the terrifying wheels in motion for a “sudden escalation” of tensions between Russia and the US.
