Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s Boyfriend Share ‘Mutual Respect’

Jennifer Garner‘s romance with boyfriend Johannes Molenaar going well – and so is Miller’s relationship with Garner’s ex-husband, am Affleck.

“Ben is super down to earth, and so is John,” an insider reveals exclusively in the new issue of We weekly. “They have mutual respect for each other and are always very friendly to each other.”

Garner and Affleck, both 51, called it quits in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. Affleck later continued Jennifer Lopezwhom he married in July 2022. Garner, meanwhile, has been in a relationship with Miller since 2018.

The source adds that the two couples are “all adults” and have worked hard to “put their children at the center of those relationships.”

Garner and Affleck share daughters Violet, 17, and Seraphina, 14, and son Samuel, 11, while Miller shares two children with ex-wife Caroline Campbell. Lopez, 54, shares twins Max and Emme, 15, with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

As the group has worked together to merge their families, Affleck and Miller have “developed a lot of mutual admiration and respect,” a second source said. Us.

Lopez and Garner, meanwhile, have built their own friendship since Lopez rekindled her romance with Affleck in 2021. “Over the last two years they have definitely become closer and gotten to know each other a lot better,” an insider said. Us in May. “They are both great mothers and always put their children’s needs first.”

Garner and Miller have largely kept their romance out of the spotlight, but have become less cautious about their relationship recently. Earlier this month, Garner was photographed giving her boyfriend a kiss as they said goodbye outside her California home.

“Jen and John are in a great place,” the source said Us in this week’s cover story. “They used to do their best to keep a low profile, but they’ve both become very confident about their relationship and how it all worked out.”

Although the duo is not currently engaged, members of their inner circle think it’s only a matter of time before they make that move. “Jen and John want to take the time to plan the details, like the type of ceremony they want, where they will live and whether or not they need a prenup,” the insider said. Us. “That will all happen, but on their own schedule.”
